Kind hostess met us.
Police woke us, inches from busy road, neighbors stopped by multiple times to take pictures. If we were not too tired to look for a new site we would have left immediately if the host had not been there to point out what was the standard site so far on an otherwise great trip, this was the strangest.

Close to everything but peaceful.
Truly peaceful location on a very quiet road. Dee is a friendly and truly interesting people person full of knowledge about the area and always ready and willing to accommodate her guests.

Dee is wonderful!
Dee is a lovely host. The horses are friendly and my dog had a blast running around the yard. Lots of birds, including peacocks. Looking forward to returning in June.

Low country small farm
This is a small working farm in the SC low country. Be prepared for low country gnats etc. Five horses, two dogs, and two goats greeted us at the fence next to where we parked/camped. We were formally introduced later. Dee was warm and inviting. She showed us her peacocks that are in an enclosed area. Two options to park. We chose the grass next to the fence. Heavy rain made it soft. But it worked out. Grocery store and library nearby.
