Dog friendly
It was awesome to be able to bring our dogs and we all thought the trees were beautiful. The fishing pond was half empty (I’m sure due to evaporation) and the fish were too small to bite our bait so I’m thinking this would be the perfect campsite for a fall camping weekend! For the hotter months though there is a park (Givens) 40min away where you can also take dogs on leash on their beach and get in the river and also a vineyard 28min away. It was also nice to be close to the bathroom. Overall I would recommend this spot to others!

River Knoll (Site 3)
It was a wonderful campsite. A lot of space and very quiet. Bathroom and toilet in walking distance.
We’d love to come back.

See you next year!
It was a wonderful semi-imursive experience. They have a nearby (visible) bathhouse with an industrial sink avaliable externally for visitor's use. They mentioned site 3 will be moving locations, but we overlooked the pond with fishes, a small turtle family, and ambient bull frogs! The trees provided some shade but left plenty of room for glow-ball, night Frisbee, and ample clearing around the fire. Mike and Meg were so hospitable! We didn't anticipate the wind encouraging our use of firewood, and allowed us to use Venmo/cash to pay for an additional two bundles to get us through our 3 day and 3 night stay! There is a Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, Enmarket, and BP that afforded us some convenience in the way of grabbing last minute items.
For our last full day we were able to steal some of Mike's time to see more of the farm and their larger operation with honey, berries, and chickens. My 5 year old is still raving about giving a "helping hand" with the worms for composting and seeing the bee hives (from a distance).
I can't wait to plan our next visit and see what's new on Black Pearl Farms!

Amazing spot
Absolutely beautiful farm. Our campsite was secluded enough to have a peaceful stay but close enough to the bathrooms, water, and neighbors to be comfortable. The river was so peaceful. The owners and staff were very helpful even with our last minute trip on a Holiday. We can’t wait to go back.

Its not really well prepared for RV although they have made an electric connection for us at our arrival. They are very friendly and a super quiet place
