Rustic Peaceful Stop-over
Debra and her nephew Josh went above and beyond to accommodate our RV. Loved how easy and quick it was to get to the property from 95. The spot we stayed in was very peaceful. We got a great night's rest to continue our journey. Although we didn't get a chance to explore the property, it seemed very serene. We would definitely stay with this host again. Just go slow driving in....over the railroad tracks and into the property very bumpy/dirt road.

Convenient Location
Debra was a great host and made sure I had everything I needed. Her property is very close to Santee State Park and about 30 miles from Beidler Forest. There are several places to camp on her land and I opted to stay on Candy Cane Lane. I enjoyed my stay and appreciated her hospitality.

Debra’s KISS Campsites
Pretty simple venue, but it was clean and relatively quiet. I never heard a train while I was there, but you can’t get away from the road noise (if that bothers you). Some of the sites are tucked away and others are within view of the residence. Debra was very accommodating though, so you should get your pick. There was a water hose to get potable water. She also offered bottled water and firewood, but I had my own with a SoloStove, so I didn’t partake. To that end, I’m sure she’s fine with fire, but I didn’t see any established rings/pits and you’re in the middle of a pretty thick grove of pines with lots of pine straw. Be smart and plan accordingly for fire! You’re within striking distance of town and groceries and Santee State Park is just up the street. For the price, I have no complaints and will certainly be back again.
