Learn more about this land: Watch the sun and moon rise over the pond from the grassy knoll in the edge of the woods or under the trees. Enjoy paddling around the pond, fishing and watching the ducks and geese during the day and relaxing around the fire pit at night. We offer 2 campsites on the pond on our private property. They are both slightly sloped.  Site 1 is on the grassy knoll overlooking the pond. It is sunny early in the day and gets shady as the day progresses. It is closer to the outhouse. Site 2 is under the trees and right beside the pond. It gets spotty sun throughout the day. We live through the woods past the campsites. An outhouse with composting toilet, potable water, picnic table, grill, fire pit, fire wood and trash can are provided. Please note that we do not offer a 30 amp camper hookup, only a 15 amp electrical cord running from our house that will run lights, but not a/c or heat.

It was a quick in and out trip this time. Wish I could have spent more time there. This is a great spot with a very thoughtful host. I will be back.

Perfect spot! The pond is nice and relaxing, seeing the ducks is always a good time and all the doggos are adorable! 10/10 would recommend. Far more amenities that I expected

First timers
First time using Hipcamp. Very positive. Host was very responsive. She came by just after we setup to check on us. Amenities were very nice. We got to enjoy the pond and we caught a fish. This hipcamp was exactly what we were looking for. Place was as advertised. Thanks to the owners for opening up their property.

Beautiful campsite on a private pond. Enjoyed the fishing, scenery, and solitude. Highly recommend if you're looking to get away from the crowds at state parks.

Site 1 - The Grassy Knoll
Exactly what we needed.
Piper's Pond was everything we needed and wanted it to be. The land was so beautiful and full of life. The pond provided us wonderful scenery to enjoy. The site provided us, seasoned campers, with the nicest composting restroom we've ever seen. We loved the Pitboss fire pit with the adjustable grill cover. The star of the show was Pearl, the beautiful and friendly dog. She was SO kind and gentle with our little ones. We loved having her around. We had everything we needed and wanted and were checked on a couple times during our stay to make sure we didn't need or want for anything. We'd definitely stay again!

Site 2 - Under the Trees
Beautiful hipcamp just outside of Columbia with also perfect access to the national park that is close by. Friendly camp hosts, spacious camp sites and a fun little pond to fish and camp by. The hipcamp had great signage to find it and to locate the campsites and bathroom.
