We loved camping on Dave's land. It is conveniently located across the beach and in front of a small lake. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and clean. At night you can hear the waves crashing and the frogs croaking. Each campsite has a fire pit, bench, and non potable water. If you don't have fire wood, do not worry, Dave has plastic bins with fire wood and a fire starter for $10 (he takes cash, Zell, or vevmo). We also enjoyed watching the sheep and llama named Forest. They are so cute! We were able to disconnect from the world literally (THERE IS NO INTERNET). We did get some reception at the beach. We appreciated Dave coming down and introducing himself and asking if we had any questions. Next time we are in the Oregon coast, we will make sure we camp here again.

Weekend Trip to The Lake Pasture

Both Dave and his property were really welcoming and accommodating. The campsites are well spaced and you can achieve plenty of privacy through your set up. The fences, picnic tables, fire pits and available firewood was all very nice and set this place apart from a typical campground experience. The porta-potty was clean and well stocked. All good things! My kids also really enjoyed the animals, particularly Forrest the Llama.

We enjoyed this quiet spot with a beautiful overlook of the valley. Crystal, our host, recommended an excellent restaurant, “Mason,” in nearby Sherwood which we really enjoyed.

Beach is right across the street & big pond right on site. Farm animals are nearby- super friendly if you love animals & not smelly or loud if you don’t like them. Each site has privacy & the hosts were incredibly accommodating. Perfect stop while visiting the coast!

Other than the neighbor's dogs which is fully disclosed by host, the experience was wonderful. Scott is a great host. Super friendly. Location easy to get to and level parking. ATT reception excellent, was able to stream live TV. Rock creek is beautiful. Very safe to leave camper unattended. Highly recommend if in the area.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed camping on Dave's property. Dave is super nice and helpful and made our stay great. The Lake Pasture is clean and well taken care of. Having two sources of water close by was awesome. It was an enjoyable experience all around from listening to the frogs to, visiting with Forrest the Llama and Elbie the lamb, catching salamanders in the afternoon, and listening to the rain at night. Thank you for a fun time!

This was our first time using hipcamp and Dave's camping area did not disappoint! Very clean and areas marked clearly! Very close walk to the beach was nice! Dave's came by and introduced himself and asked if we had any questions and if we needed anything. We definitely will be camping there again in the future.

Love this lil bunkhouse, loved the property, love the hosts. Beautiful rolling hills and pasture land. We had everything we needed in the bunkhouse for the weekend. We brought our camp bins and with those we were set. Bring all your camp kitchen. And your own water. They had 3 cots and we brought our camp mattress. We had a wonderful time and will be back. Bonus, 2 wineries right near the property. Thank you Tabitha and Brent

The location was great to nearby hikes on Sitka sedge and Whalen island. Also bonus was the nice big lake at the camp for non motorized boating activities.

Weekend Trip to Amico Roma Farm

I’ve stayed at many yurts in my life, but nothing comes close to comparing to Carly’s place. Every need is taken care of. The surrounding grounds are beautiful and the trails make for peaceful hiking. Every night we had a roaring fire and stayed so warm and comfortable. Our dog was the happiest he’s ever been. The bathroom is incredibly luxurious for camping and I can’t wait for the sauna to open up soon! We will be coming back

Weekend Trip to Hurlys Hideaway

Mark was very responsive, helpful and kind! The area just had a big rain and he was really on top of making sure my experience was still great with the mud. The property is stunning and he has carved out the spaces to have privacy. He also gave me great tips on things to do in the area. As a girl traveling alone, I felt very safe staying on this property and was grateful for the peace of mind.

Site was great. I took my three year old son on his first camping trip here. He loved the dock on the lake, animals, and beach across the street. We happened to be there during a bit of a storm, but the firewood tubs they provide had matches, fire starter, kindling, and logs and, with the fire pits, made it “easy” to get a fire going in tough conditions. Host came down in the morning and said hi and was very friendly.

Close enough to hear the roar of the ocean and crashing of waves at high tide and far away enough from any busy roads or locations that would make it too overstimulating. Beautiful setup. The yurt has all the amenities and yet still feels like camping. It’s exactly what we were looking for. I can tell that the owners really put their heart into this build. Their property is big enough to roam around, and it’s fun to see the animals (both wild and tame). We especially liked Dandy the sheep!

Located an hour west of Portland through Oregons wine country. We are located in Scoggins valley which is home to Henry Hagg lake and the Scoggins valley park. The Lake offers a bunch of recreation including swimming , boating ,fishing ,hiking , biking and paddle board rentals. The camp site is situated on the bottom of my property a half mile from the lake. It is a fairly secluded campsite with room for up to 6 tents. Nestled in the woods there is a nice verity of sunny and shady spots a campfire spot, a picnic table and a porta potty. Sain Creek recreational area is just off our road at the lake with C- ramp another quarter of a mile around the lake. All of the lake is a park so you have to enter the park to come to our spot.

Located in the Willamette Valley, where route 240 and 47 meet is the small town of Yamhill. just 3 miles out of town there is a 66 acre farm with forest covered hills, rolling hay fields and a small seasonal creek. We welcome you to come enjoy some peaceful rest on our farm. We have 2 camp sites available and more coming soon nestled in the trees across the open hay field where you can watch wildlife. each site has access to the composting toilet, has their own picnic table, fire ring, access to water, and some extras like hay that can be used for under tents, kindling to help start your fire, a fire extinguisher, access to a propane fire ring during fire danger season, and a few yard games. we do have fire wood available to purchase as well as farm fresh eggs. the camp sites are seasonal and most will be closed for the wet winter months. they will be open from June to September, depending on the weather we may need to adjust the access to the sites. at times they may be walk in only (about 200ft walk) or four wheel drive access only as they are in a low area of the farm and do not wish anyone to get stuck. if access has been changed I will notify you as soon as I can with an update. you are welcome to walk around during your stay, pick some blackberries, apples or plums but please be aware and careful as we do have some poison oak on the property. I encourage you to stay on a path. please message me if you would like a tour of the farm we have a horse boarding stable, rabbits, chickens and goats ( for your safety please do not enter any barns or pastures without permission , preferable accompanied) you can see and hear some of the animals but most are far enough away that they are not disturbing.

Dauenhauer Family Campground

This property is owned by Carl and Lores Dauenhauer and was initially operated as a multi-functional farm raising a thousand acres in various crops. In the early 1980's Carl and his children began planting grapes on the property and now the vineyard is the predominate feature for the farm. Most of the vineyard production is sold to wineries located across the state, however the family does retain a small amount of grapes each year for their private wine label "Hauer of the Dauen". You are welcome to stop by the farm for wine tasting on Saturday and Sunday's 12:00-5:00pm. The park and campground area is a recent addition to the farm and had been a vision of Carl's for quite some time. Carl usually goes for a walk through the vineyard in the during sunrise and sunset, weather permitting, and he loves to share his life-story with any campers who want to chat.

The campground is in a secluded meadow next to Powder Creek, a pristine year round stream, perfect for wading and playing in. If you feel like venturing further, the beach is 23 miles away in Pacific City. Tillamook is 25 miles. We also offer pasture raised pork for sale. A variety of sausages (breakfast, chorizo, Italian, Bratwurst and French Garlic links) and pork chops.

The location is central and half an hour to just minutes away from water bodies Hagg Lake, Nestucca River, Yamhill River, little Niagara Falls, Mill Creek, Baker Creek, Rainbow Lake and more… Such as the Carlton public pool. If your looking to jaunt from camp a little further, we are located a little over an hour and a beautiful drive to the Pacific Coast and about an hour from Portland. Although in the middle of the country woods, we are surprisingly only two and a half miles from the adorable and quaint town of Carlton. So beside the views, you’ll be alongside some fantastic eateries and outstanding winemakers. Being raised in the community, and over ten years of experience in the local food and wine industry, I can give recommendations aplenty. ꕥ The property has been in our family since the late 60’s and has recently been transferred in ownership to the next generation! It’s been a large adjustment with many precious memories in tow. In hopes to carry on the legacy we opened up camp mid-summer 2021, and it’s a work in progress (as work normally is!), but has been a beautiful experience being in a position to share. There are two family homes on the property with people who truly admire this land we have been given so we do ask you to respect our process in this adjustment, as we miss our grandparents and parents who have worked their entire lives for us to be here. With the work of these past couple seasons, and thanks to our fellow campers, we have been able to lay more gravel, get a more fluid bathroom situation established, and have purchased a 20ft stargazing tent that is in the works of being listed this season! Please be careful when using Google maps, for whatever reason it has taken several people to other places other than mine. I posted a picture of the entrance of my property, hopefully this will help. Hurlys Hideaway is a very nice location located approximately 2 miles from the town of Tillamook. Very close to the beach Sand Lake various Rivers for fishing kayaking swimming Etc. Approximately 4 MI from Netarts Oceanside area, Netarts Bay, Cape Mears. A very nice location to be able to access all of these activities in Tillamook County. My land is Timber, some clearings, we'll see how this goes I'm just getting started. Also, I just learned that the transient tax for Tillamook Oregon is an additional 10% and I hate to do this but I'm going to have to raise my prices $5. If you are coming from Town, I'm 2 mi. from the hospital west on hwy. 131. Look for the purple Minnesota Vikings bus shack with the eggs for sale sign. I also put up a hipcamp sign just up my driveway a bit. If you are coming from the south on Fraiser road, turn right when you come to hwy. 131. I'm less than a quarter mile on your left.

Green Crest is an active Memorial Park (cemetery) adjacent to Highway 18 between Portland and the Oregon coast on the South side of Sheridan. This property makes a great stop over while en route to your final destination, but is also a great getaway if you'd just like to relax in a natural setting while having conveniences near by. **if you have an rv that you are planning to back into the site, please enter via the 'exit' as it will allow better positioning to back in. otherwise use the drive marked entrance.** If you have young ones, the park next door has a playground and a stocked fish pond. We also have a pond on sight that is perfect for viewing birds, beaver and having morning coffee. You're also welcome to bring your kayak and or paddle boards to get out on the water for fishing or just floating the pond. There is the occasional Deer, coyote and raccoons all around on the property. Two minutes from your site, you will find 24 hour gas and diesel; Subway, Riverside Cafe, Bennie Huies Chinese and the local Grocery store. Did I say there is a Dairy Queen 5 minutes way? Nearby Ballston Road offers a great rural road system from which to explore by bicycle. Points of interest both out in the wild and more metro are all within an hour drive. We can direct you to some little known sites that offer a great day trip.

We are offering up an area on our property for clean, friendly, quiet campers that want to get out of the city and enjoy some peace and quiet. We are located in Banks, Oregon. We are approximately 45 minutes west of downtown Portland. Our camping area is about 5 acres and offers something for everyone. If you have a large RV and need a safe and quiet spot to stay for the night, we got you. We have a large fire pit, Adirondak chairs, a large picnic table, and a swing set for the kids. Badminton and cornhole available on request. Family get-togethers or birthday parties are welcome! We are located just 1.5 miles from The Banks-Vernonia Trail. Bike campers are welcome! Feel free to bring along your 4-legged friends as well. We do not have a fence, so if you do not trust your dog of a leash, please keep them tied up. We have a lot of deer that pass through and untrained dogs love chasing them. Banks has a few restaurants to choose from: Subway, Dairy Queen, Main Street Pizza, Mary's Mexican Food, Hop-Cycle Brewing to name a few. There is also a Supermarket in town just in case you forgot your S'mores supplies, Spirits, or campfire wood. We are about 20 minutes away from McMenamins Grand Lodge, in Forest Grove, which hosts some great live concerts during the summer. We have a few fishing spots within about 30 minutes of the property. Hagg lake, Horning's Hideout, Dorman's Pond and the Wilson River are all popular spots. We have clean well water and 50A electrical hookups. We do not offer dumping of black water, but you can empty your tank at the Elks club in Forest Grove (25-minute drive) for free or Camping World over in Hillsboro. I don't mind if you drain your gray water on the property as long as you use a longer hose to keep it away from the immediate camping area. The parking area for RV's is fairly level and easy to get in and out of. During the late summer, our 5 apple trees produce great fruit. We also have 2 plum trees, and some blackberries. Feel free to pick what you would like. Currently, we do not have any public bathroom facilities available for campers, so please plan accordingly. Please, only book if you have an RV with working plumbing. **We will not accept tent campers** Please feel free to ask me any questions, we are willing to make accommodations for special situations/events if possible!
