Please note: We are tobacco-free, medicinal herbs are legal and ok as long as children are not around. What to expect: We are in a rural neighborhood where most parcels are 1-3 acres, we have seven acres. It's quiet around here but along with the natural sounds of the desert like yipping coyotes, and woodpeckers pecking, you may hear a horse, dog, or chicken. While we are on the outskirts of Tucson, we are not completely remote. We have carved our sites out of the natural layout of the desert. There are many kinds of cactus in our area in addition to the magnificent Saguaro, and uneven areas when walking. We keep it as natural as possible. We have a small "Mercantile" on property. This is our office, but we also have items you may have forgotten, and souvenirs made by local artists. Also available is firewood, and ice is for sale for your convenience. We have a small Laundry Shack (two washers, two dryers) 2.00 wash/2.00 dry. You'll need cash for these things, we do not take any other form of payment at this time. Camp Saguaro is tobacco-free. High Tanks Brewing Co is open November-April, Thu-Sun. Explore the Painted Desert wonderland to play around in and stargaze. The campsite is shared with Wild Horses, Pronghorns, Owls and Bovine that wander around the area. Look out to the south and a view of Petrified Forest National Park is right there. And when you're in the park, using binoculars, you can see the campsite from Pintado Point. Just search left from the towers. A fantastic campsite built by independent outdoor company @hetchyoutdoors This is a remote, private campground with a canopy, picnic bench and fire pit that relieves you from the crowds of hotels and RV campgrounds in the area. There are no predators or threats to worry about at night, just the the most stars in the sky you've probably ever seen. Views of the National Park to the south and only a 15 minute drive to the North Gate.

First day of my campsite I start with 2 campsites then I built 1 more campsite. I then made fire pit an after that I built an outhouse its a restroom so of the guest don't know what an outhouse is we tell them it doesn't take no water to flush. After that I built a wooden fence around the whole campsite from horses a cows get into our property. So that how I started a campsite. Now our guests love our campsite a some of them came back an we have a short hiking trail to the rims to overlook the whole valleys its beautiful to take pictures from there. Learn more about this land: Guest can pitch a tent or park RV within the campsite having access to own picnic table and fire pit. The Campsite is 10-15 mins to the Valley View of the Famous Monuments and close to Navajo Tribal Park. Access to Restroom (Outhouse) within the site. Guest can request Navajo Taco Dinner with Navajo Tea for extra cost to enlighten their stay here in Beautiful Monument Valley. Guest can bring pets as well. We are pet friendly and have one well behaved dogs name spike and diamond. Also we rv size will be 25 ft long .. 30 ft. Long is going to button out on the cattle guard. We don't have hookup.

Boondocker sites are great for easy in-out dry camping, making for an early start for your trip out of town. Driving paths are covered with gravel throughout the property. Boondocker 2 is by currently closed for renovations. We are just 10 minutes from the I-17 (Lake Pleasant is just a 30-45 minute drive). Phoenix is a close commute, where you will find many more amenities. Rent an off-road vehicle, boat for the lake (or bring yours!), or plan a tour and ENJOY YOUR STAY! We are more than happy to help facilitate your time here. We welcome pets, but do note there are occasional encounters with neighborhood dogs and plenty of wildlife. For their safety, best to keep them leashed or bring an enclosure. In the future, we plan to provide an enclosure for dogs to safely play and run off-leash. Daytime arrival highly recommended! What to expect: We are in a rural neighborhood where most parcels are 1-3 acres, we have seven acres. It's quiet around here but along with the natural sounds of the desert like yipping coyotes, and woodpeckers pecking, you may hear a horse, dog, or chicken. While we are on the outskirts of Tucson, we are not completely remote. We have carved our sites out of the natural layout of the desert. There are many kinds of cactus in our area in addition to the magnificent Saguaro, and uneven areas when walking. We keep it as natural as possible. We have a small "Mercantile" on property. This is our office, but we also have items you may have forgotten, and souvenirs made by local artists. Also available is firewood, and ice is for sale for your convenience. We have a small Laundry Shack (two washers, two dryers) 2.00 wash/2.00 dry. You'll need cash for these things, we do not take any other form of payment at this time. Camp Saguaro is tobacco-free. There are no predators or threats to worry about at night, just the the most stars in the sky you've probably ever seen. Views of the National Park to the south and only a 15 minute drive to the North Gate.

I then made fire pit an after that I built an outhouse its a restroom so of the guest don't know what an outhouse is we tell them it doesn't take no water to flush. After that I built a wooden fence around the whole campsite from horses a cows get into our property. So that how I started a campsite. Now our guests love our campsite a some of them came back an we have a short hiking trail to the rims to overlook the whole valleys its beautiful to take pictures from there. The Campsite is 10-15 mins to the Valley View of the Famous Monuments and close to Navajo Tribal Park. Access to Restroom (Outhouse) within the site. Guest can request Navajo Taco Dinner with Navajo Tea for extra cost to enlighten their stay here in Beautiful Monument Valley. Guest can bring pets as well. We are pet friendly and have one well behaved dogs name spike and diamond. Also we rv size will be 25 ft long .. 30 ft. Long is going to button out on the cattle guard. We don't have hookup.

Sacred Springs is truly one of those places that stays with your heart long after you leave. From the moment I arrived, I felt wrapped in peace, love, and nature’s magic. Being able to cook a meal in the community room made everything feel so homey and special — like gathering with family in the middle of the wilderness. One of my favorite moments was getting to use the kayaks and paddle boards on the lazy river and in the grotto. Floating through that serene canyon water felt like stepping into a hidden paradise. And don’t even get me started on the fresh organic chicken eggs — absolutely delicious and such a beautiful touch of farm-to-table love!🍳 I also couldn’t resist the adorable Sacred Springs hat and sweatshirt — they’re not just cute, they feel like a little piece of this magical place I get to take home with me.🥰 Gary and Daren have created something truly sacred here — a place full of heart, beauty, and genuine care for every soul who visits. We had such a good experience here! Everything was so well organized, and the location looks so pretty. It was very easy to find our campsite, even at night. The facilities were in a very clean state, and the shower was very warm. At night, you can hear coyotes. The biggest highlight, however, is the host! She was so kind to us; she gave us so many recommendations for activities around the area. We ended up going on a hike she recommended to us, and it was so nice! We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful hosts and beautiful grounds. There is a sense of community here and we felt like we were camping with family. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. The bathrooms and amenities were a real treat and well maintained. You can tell the hosts truly love this place with all the attention to detail - there is subtle humor, tiny surprises, and quirky artistic touches all around with the signage, santa hats on saguaros, and the gorgeous mercantile filled with antique furniture displays and locally handmade gifts. If you are lucky, you may even meet Leslie and Mark while there, who come in seasonally to man the mercantile and help to maintain the grounds. We will definitely be back here for more Christmas camping and random adventures.

Sacred Springs is truly a hidden gem. Gary and Daren are amazing hosts and have done a wonderful job with making it a great a experience. You get a nice outdoors experience while also having some basic amenities like showers and a community kitchen. Daren is also extremely kind and helpful. I would highly recommend people to come and stay at Sacred Springs!

Weekend Trip to Camp Saguaro
1000% will be back! The hosts were kind, welcoming, and hospitable. The showers and toilets were perfect and needed with a young child. It was so nice to have other kids and families around. The grounds were quiet but kids were warmly welcomed engaged by the hosts. Take a moment to meet Kim, Michelle, Leslie and Mark - absolutely lovely humans!

Michelle's Camp Suguaro was one of the best Hipcamps we've been to, and we've traveled all over the country. The Curious Quail site was perfect for our 22' travel trailer. I wouldn't try to stay here, however, if you have something bigger than that. The site had a very pretty, shaded sitting area with a table, chairs and fire pit. Top notch, clean amenities included bathrooms, showers and a dish cleaning sink. Yard games and laundry were also available, and the Mercantile was nice with both utilitarian and artsy items. The entire place was well organized and well maintained. It was pretty with lots of thoughtful touches making it inviting and cozy. The description is accurate in saying you will hear some neighborhood sounds. Most, such as chickens, were not bothersome. The dog across the street that barked incessantly did become annoying. The best part of Camp Suaro though, was the hospitality. Everyone was warm, personable, and helpful. We received great ideas for things to do and pointers to make our time in Tucson very enjoyable. We felt safe and welcome at all times. If we are ever back in Tucson, we wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else. Thank you Michelle, Kim, and all of you kind camp hosts!

Weekend Trip to El Pais Motel & Campgrounds
The pictures are beautiful and eye-catching, but they barely scratch the surface of the alternate universe you step into when you arrive at El Pais Motel and Campground. From the moment we pulled in, it felt like we were part of something special. The drive-in movie night with popcorn, the food truck and snacks, on-site laundry, and the welcoming community space all made the stay incredibly comfortable and memorable. Add in the creativity woven throughout the property, and it easily became one of our favorite stays to date. Huge thanks to Jade and Karl for creating such a fun, thoughtful, and unique experience. We will absolutely be back!!

The location of Camp Saguaro is fantastic - minutes from Saguaro National Park and miles of hiking trails, while only 30 minutes from historic Tucson. The campground is lovely and well cared for by Kim, Michelle, and the other hosts. They were also a great resource for things to experience in the area. New and very clean showers, bathrooms, and a shared dishwashing area. Evening cayote serenades were a high point for us! The Flying Jewels campsite was spacious with natural vegetation barriers between us and neighboring sites—plenty of room for two tents, our SUV, a campfire area, and hummingbirds visiting the feeder. Our only negative experience - which the hosts really can't control - was some noise from the adjacent properties (dogs barking, vehicles, and music). Likely not as noticeable to folks in an RV. Overall, a great place to call home for a few days while exploring the Saguaro National Park area.
