Winstanley Lake Shelter Site Lookout is a 1930’s era piece of history, surrounded by pristine lake waters, thick, green forests, and all-around photo-worthy views. Fly a floatplane in about 33 air miles northeast of Ketchikan and use the aluminum skiff to paddle across Winstanley Lake to the Winstanley Lakes Trail and voila! A cozy, historic cabin in the woods!
