Description

Swan Lake is as beautiful as it sounds. Located in the alpine forest, east of Thomas Bay and northeast of Petersburg, Swan Lake Cabin is remote and only accessible by float plane when the lake is open. The trip is totally worth it, but you’ll want to come prepared as bad weather can affect flight accessibility. While you’re here, you’ll want to check out the incredible rock, ice, and glacier climbing, the rainbow trout fishing, the 4.1 mile Cascade Creek Trail, the mountain goat hunting, and the incredible panoramas that need to be photographed! You won’t be sorry if you have to stay here awhile, as the gorgeous, primitive, untouched wilderness is something you will never forget.
