Description

1962: A cabin is built on the north bank of the Stikine River. It’s modest, rustic, and overlooks the local wetland known as Shakes Slough. Today, we know this tidy little hideaway as Shakes Slough Cabin #1, and all these years later, it still offers outdoor enthusiasts the lush vegetation, proliferation of wildlife, and boat-based fun endemic to the area. Amenities are basic, so pack right and you can stay the night!
