Jim’s Lake Cabin covers the three R’s—remote, relaxing, and rustic!
The cabin sits on an isolated rocky rise overlooking the lake in the south-central region of Admiralty Island. The cabin is surrounded by thick old-growth forest, part of the Kootznoowoo Wilderness, and visitors are rewarded with views of distant glacier-covered peaks. Hikers can explore the diverse landscape of forest, lakes, muskegs, and rocky peaks. Anglers will enjoy catching the cutthroat trout, Dolly Varden, and kokanee salmon in the lake. This pan-abode style log cabin has furniture, firewood, and a wood stove for heat. BYO… everything else!
