Description

On a narrow isthmus of land, jutting out of Kuiu Island, is Devil’s Elbow Cabin. Don’t let the name scare you because this cute A-frame getaway is nestled in gorgeous forest, where you’ll be in prime big-game hunting territory and close to coho salmon fishing! Sleep in the loft and get warm by the oil heater. Just bring your own stove oil, cookware, and bedding. This spot is a 26 mile boat ride from Kake, through Rocky Pass, or a 40 mile float plane trip from Petersburg.
