It was nice. We had a relaxing time, accompanied by the owners animals who gave us very friendly greetings, while still keeping their space. We didn’t love that the campsite was so close to where the owners were staying (within eyeshot) but it was still fine nonetheless. This was a great little weekend getaway for people looking to have some tranquility by the sea, and enjoy a nice campfire.

5⭐️/5⭐️—New favorite camping spot!
My best friend and I were doing a last minute cross country camping trip for my 20th birthday. Starting from KC, to TN, then found this campground. It was incredibly welcoming, everyone was so nice and the campsite was so clean! Dorissa was so helpful and was always available to get in contact with if we needed any help or had any concerns. On the Beachfront site, you get beautiful views dusk to dawn, plenty of privacy, a perfect spot for a little campfire, and you’re able to choose where you’d want to set up your tent, meaning you have the freedom to choose to set up your stuff either directly on the water, or just under the shaded woods. I would highly recommend it to anybody with any interest in camping without worrying about it being too crowded or noisy. Another positive thing that we experienced was their pet friendly area, we didn’t bring dogs with us but we grew up with them, and the dogs/cats that the owners had rescued are the absolute sweetest animals ever, which was such a pleasant surprise. Even with being around 1,200 miles from home, I’d still love to come back any time. Huge thank you to them all for the great experience and hospitality they provided to us!

It has an amazing view, beautiful water. Mark and Deresa were very accommodating to whatever we needed. We will definitely plan more visits.
