It’s a kinda bumpy mountain road to get there but it’s also like driving through an enchanted forest. The secluded location, peaceful and breathtaking views make this place a must-see adventure.
Second time at this campground, first time and site number 7. Loved it! Great site, great view! Very quiet. Andrew is a wonderful and accommodating host. Will likely return…. Again!
This is an awesome spot to camp. There is no view like it. The sunsets and sunrises are beautiful. Andrew was very kind and friendly, he went the extra mile to make this stay enjoyable. As soon as my husband and I left, we were taking about planning another trip back here.
This place was amazing. The host, Andrew is an incredibly kind man who does a lot of work to make these sites beautiful. One of the most stunning views I’ve ever experienced here. Would highly recommend!
If you’re looking for a wonderful and remote place to camp, you found it! . Peaceful and comfortable creekside campsites along with dramatic mountainside campsites with splendid views are available.
I stayed in site 5 creekside and it couldn’t have been better. A beautiful babbling creek with trees and space to enjoy. Andrew, the host, was great to talk to and was genuinely concerned with the well being of his campers.
If you like being off-grid where you can only reach someone by satellite this is the place to come and relax. I will be back.
Thanks Andrew!
Absolutely awesome trip, made my Spring Break worth it! Andrew was a sweetheart and we are super grateful for his trail recommendations for sure (the old growth elevated our trip to the next level). Even in winter the site/view was beautiful (super windy though, so make sure to triple secure your tent if using one) and I will make sure to come back in summer for a fresh experience. Drive-wise, the latter end is about 6-9 miles of unpaved gravel, not including the 4WD-required drive up to the campsite, so don't take your fanciest low-rider on this trip and expect to have a bumpy bumpy (but fun) ride!
