At the foothills of the Sangre De Cristo Mountain Range, campers can go horseback riding, OHV, hike, and swim on a camping getaway to Westcliffe, Colorado. Tents and motorhomes will find plenty of campsites at the local RV park, which features full hookups, restrooms, laundry facilities, and dump stations. Cabin rentals with electricity and queen-size beds are also available. Anglers have options from easy-access fishing spots in Grape Creek to catches from alpine lakes after a summit of Eureka Mountain and Hermit Peak. For a more adventurous day on the water, zip over to the Arkansas River to whitewater raft. Great Sand Dunes National Park provides more recreational fun just two hours southwest.
