100% of recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp felt private.
Located on 3 acres of land, this private campsite features a large 16x20 canvas walled tent with a covered deck. There is a large wood stove inside to keep you warm all night long during all four seasons. The tent can easily accommodate up to 8 people. There is 1 twin over full bunk bed, 1 full size bed, and 1 futon. There is one more additional mattress and bed-frame under the bunk bed for additional sleeping (some minor furniture rearranging is required to make space for the additional bed). PLEASE NOTE: The reservation is for the provided canvas tent only. If you want to pitch additional tents, we do allow that for an added cost of $25 per tent per night. Please contact host prior to booking to make sure your arrangement will work. We do not allow extra tents on the property without prior permission and paid fees. In the woods right by the tent you’ll find a private playground complete with: swings and slide, trampoline, spinning rope tunnels, ninja course, climbing dome and a zip-line. In the winter there’s a great area for sledding.
We provide everything you need for the camping experience. There is a a set of dishes for 10, silverware, all cooking utensils, cast iron pots and pans, a coffee percolator, trash bags, dish soap, outdoor kitchen prep area, large 3 burner camp stove, propane, (5) camp chairs, bear box, warm down comforters, lanterns / solar lights, board games for both kids & adults.
The only thing you should plan to bring is your own firewood, water, sleeping bag or sheets, your pillow and food! PLEASE NOTE: Person reserving the campsite must sign a separate rental agreement. All adults must sign a liability waiver for themselves and their minor children. Rental agreement will be sent after booking.Nestled in a secluded aspen grove this campsite has everything for an amazing camping experience. The roomy, already pitched, canvas tent can easily accommodate your family. You can relax on the deck while the kids entertain themselves on their own personal playground in the woods. When it’s time to eat don’t bother lugging out a bunch of cooking equipment the campsite comes with a large 3 burner cooktop and a multitude of pots, pans and cooking utensils. At night enjoy roasting marshmallows around the campfire, or if you’re in the mood for something more cozy fire up the wood burning stove inside the tent and curl up with a mug of hot cocoa. Don’t spend all your time and energy packing and setting up camp. We’ve done all the prep work, all you need to do is show up and enjoy.

Incredible Site with Everything!
With kids
We had an amazing time at Quaking Aspens! The camp itself is gorgeous and they have done an incredible job making sure it has everything you and the family will need. Plenty of activities for the kids and all of the equipment you need for a cozy stay. The site is quiet and private and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot for a family trip. Thank you, Mollie!

Group trip
Such a beautiful campsite! Literally had everything that you would want/need. Very responsive host. We were a group of adults but I can just imagine how much of a hit this would be for kids with all the fun play equipment (zip line, trampoline, etc) on the site. Still soooo fun for a group of young adults though! Can't wait to return!

This place was amazing! It had all you needed to enjoy the stay without worry. Our 6 year old had a blast. We did not have cell service at all, which made the stay even better. We got to unwind, enjoy some smores and actually be in nature. We will definitely visit again.

Canvas tent outside Cripple Creek
With pets
Great campsite! Kids really enjoyed the zip line and playground equipment. Tent was clean. Outdoor kitchen was easy to use, with full stocked kitchen utensils/plates/etc. Outhouse also was clean. Would stay again. Thing I didn't consider was the elevation and how cold it would get at night even in July, however there were blankets under the beds available which was great.

Family camping with kids a Must!
With pets
Great for a family with little ones! We stayed here two nights with our 1 and 3 year olds for their first time “camping” (I say it in quotes because it’s almost glamping!) the place is clean, comfortable, lots of activities for kids, beautiful scenery and was stocked with everything you need! The only things you need to pack are: -clothes/ toiletries -food -drinking water -gray water (washing dishes, putting out fire) -speaker -portable chargers -pillows/blankets/sleeping bags -special activities/games (there are cards and board games there) The only challenge is the parking is not right next to the site, and it is a steep hill. They provide you with two wagons to help but it is quite hard to take all your things back up the hill when you leave to be prepared! Such a great experience and super easy to get to. Mollie was also very communicative and provided great information.
