Creekside Casita
in Hunter Moon Ranch, CaliforniaCozy bungalow by the coast!
Had a fantastic time at Creekside Casita! The cozy bungalow had everything you could want. A short drive from the main road and towards your left. youâll reach the Casita. The area was full of beautiful birds, thereâs also a super cool bird feeder on the window inside the Casita. Inside youâll be greeted with small yummy snacks courtesy of Charles. The Casita had adequate cooking equipment, it even had a coffee maker (with fresh coffee). The interior of the Casita is just right, with a nice colors. The place is spacious enough for a small group of friends (4-5 ppl). Loved how close it was to Morro Bay rock, less than 2 miles! Would definitely recommend you add this place to your must visit Hipcamps list. Ps: donât forget to sign the guest book.

Matt and Ali took great care of us!
Upon arriving there's a short drive on a gravel road. You'll be surprised as to how big the treehouse is in person compared to the photos when you pull up.
There is a cozy cabin on the property with a full kitchen, cookware, a nice stereo system, comfy couches, and a fireplace.
The Treehouse is where you sleep and enjoy your friendâs company. There's a large bed inside with panorama windows.
The outdoor bathtub was amazing, it takes a little while to fill up but definitely worth the wait :)
Overall, the property is a 10/10. You cannot take a bad photo here.
Slumber Jack
in The Artist Ranch at Rebel Ridge, CaliforniaCozy nook on the pch
Had a great weekend stay at this Pescadero hideaway. Guy was enthusiastic about his property, showed me the lay of the land upon arrival. Make sure to stop at the local pie shop to get a delicious pie. There are many beautiful beaches up and down the coast. Iâm looking forward to coming back in the near future.

Overall it was an okay stay. Camp grounds not maintained well. Seeing a lot of trash at the beginning of the entrance was a bummer. If youâre in a pickle and need a place to crash this is it.

Separate Star Point Camp didnât disappoint! The campsite is priceless, how often can you say you camped on a beautiful cliff in California? The walk down to camp is a few hundred feet so make sure to pack somewhat light or make multiple trips to your vehicle. We were greeted with a good warm summer night so we enjoyed watching the stars came out. It was surreal to hear the waves crashing while going to sleep. Definitely recommend anyone to give this Hipcamp a try!
Gracewood Santa Barbara
in Gracewood Santa Barbara, CaliforniaCrowdless camp in santa barbara.
We had a great time at Gracewood Santa Barbara. Upon arriving make sure to get your personalized envelope and follow Fred's directions to the campsite.
We were greeted by a family of ducks while setting up camp (: The location of the campsite is next to a large pond. It was great having the pond in close proximity to relax and enjoy the scenery. I believe there are two campsites on the property but due to covid, there's only one being offered for booking. It was nice to have the property to ourselves. Fred provided us with firewood to keep us warm. There are plenty of benches on the campsite. Overall the campsite is spacious enough for two groups and on mostly level ground.
Gracewood is 20 mins from Downtown Santa Barbara. We made a day trip to the coastal town and visited several attractions.
One thing to note: on Sunday morning we were awakened by a helicopter flying around the farm next door.
I would highly recommend this campsite to anyone visiting the area. There's a lot to do in the camp and outside as well.
