With just a handful of sites, you’re no doubt in for a secluded and scenic time among the waterfalls, trees, and rocky cliffs of Black Hills National Forest. Campsites are first-come, first-served, spacious, and totally worth it.

We are located approximately 5 miles from Custer State Park, 11 miles from Keystone the Gateway to Mt. Rushmore in the beautiful southern Black Hills. Cabins have electricity, our tents do not have electricity. Cabins and showers are heated and open year round! Where "neighbors" might live two hours away or just down the road. Where directions are given in "north and south" instead of "right and left". Life's a little slower, people a little more sincere and a handshake still means something! PLEASE READ: IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR TENT CAMPING: I don't have any shower or bathroom facilities. The closest place I know of is the Conoco a mile north of my place on Cleveland St. They have a truck stop and I'm told the shower is nice. There is a chance I won't be on site to greet you, but so far everyone has been incredibly respectful and found some great places to put up a tent. I trust you!

A great little campground set against a steep mountain in a small valley deep in the Black Hills. Heading here in early August, I was worried the site would be full like many others in the area due to the Sturgis annual motorcycle rally. This campground being about 4 miles down a gravel road may have deterred the crowd - only three other sites were occupied. A heavy rain fell so I wasn't able to fully explore, definitely check your maps and sources - there was confusion even among locals as to how to get here!
