The resort is located off Highway 385, the main thoroughfare through the Black Hills National Forest, yet is peacefully nestled in a quiet valley, completely surrounded by national forestland with a tranquil year-round creek meandering throughout the property. Rock outcroppings, hiking trails and offroad trails are within footsteps of every cabin. The serene space is an outdoor sanctuary centrally-located within 20 miles of Custer State Park, Crazy Horse Memorial, Needles Eye Tunnel / Highway, and Black Elk Peak. Your adventure will also take you near Hill City, Keystone, Custer, and Historic Deadwood. Drive a little further, and end up in Badlands National Park, Wind Cave National Park, Jewel Cave National Monument, Sturgis, or Devils Tower National Monument.

Creek Side RV

LOVES Horse Creek RV in Hill City!

The campsite was absolutely lovely! It is nestled in a meadow surrounded by wildlife, hiking trails, and a little creek running throughout the property. The campsite is centrally located near local attractions and we toured Deadwood, Rapid City, Crazy Horse, and Mr. Rushmore in our 4 day stay. The local community was super friendly and welcomed us as we brewery hopped. As we toured the area we noticed the other campgrounds were not nearly as beautiful as this one. We would highly recommend Horse Creek RV park and we look forward to visiting again. The location is stunningly beautiful!

Creekside RV

Campsites are well spaced, plenty of room with a gorgeous view. Garret sent us all the information prior to our arrival, with clear instructions. We will be coming back, on our next South Dakota trip!
