We have a private single site located on the banks of the McKenzie River in Rainbow, Oregon. The access road and site size make it best for camper vans and smaller RV’s. Trailers, large RV’s and tent camping are not permitted at this time. The site has 50/30 amp and 120 volt outlets, as well as water and Wi-Fi. The property has many areas to set your camp chair or hang your hammock, and lots of short paths to explore. Recreation opportunities abound around here: hiking, biking, fishing, hot springs, cold springs, waterfalls, lava beds, whitewater boating on the river, and flat water paddling on the reservoirs. There are also four restaurants, a food cart, golf course and a general store nearby. The spot is on a medium sized gravel pad within view of the river. Access is down a private driveway about 100’ long. The power and water hookups are next to each other on the southern edge of the site. There is good shade about half the day in the summer, more in the winter. We have some very large cedar and fir trees surrounded by many ferns. In the summer, lemon balm, water leaf and wild flowers blanket the forest floor. We are not allowing pets at this time, as our cat rules the roost.

Loved the camping site! Really close to the river and the sounds of the water were amazing and relaxing. Far from the road so you can enjoy the peace and quiet.
