Richard's property is absolutely beautiful! He was very welcoming and kind and gave us fruits and vegetables from his garden. He told us about the history of the property. He thought of all of the little touches that make a great camping experience. The tent is already set up for you with 2 cots inside. Patio/tent cover to enjoy rain or shine with lights. There are lights down to the bathroom. I would recommend this to anyone, single or with a family. Lots of land to walk, wildlife to see, a pond and fire pit. Close to Terwilleger hot springs, Belknap and blue pool. Such a great experience!
This was my second time staying here and it was just as amazing as the first. Richard really equips you for an excellent trip and it’s the perfect balance of traditional camping and glamping. The land and space is so well cared for and truly beautiful. We visited Blue Pool and Clear Lake during our trip.
The most perfect peaceful place you can imagine. A field of green surrounded by trees, with nothing to hear but birdsong. Richard is the kindest host, full of information and stories and his sweet labs are delightful co-hosts.
This is a truly special place. Quiet,
secluded, clean and so beautiful! Richard is a wonderful, thoughtful host. We loved our stay and would return without a doubt.
This is the best HipCamp we have ever stayed at! The host thought of all the little details with the kitchen, patio, hammocks, & more. We can’t wait to come back next summer!
Wow. Really gorgeous site with just about everything your want. Richard definitely puts a lot thought and work into the site and it definitely shows. Would recommend.
