River Ridge is a scenic property right off the highway, overlooking the Mckenzie River along Indian Creek. Wildlife such as Blue Herons, Osprey, and Deer, are regular visitors here. Full RV hookups are available. The site is less than half a mile from gas, propane, groceries, bait and tackle, boat launch, and the historic Goodpasture Covered Bridge. With all of its features and proximity to amenities, River Ridge is an ideal campsite for all your outdoor fun.This site offers a 55’ x 25’ gravel pad with a view of the river, a firepit, picknick table with unbrella, a power pedestal with 15/30/50 Amp power, a yard hydrant with filtered well water, potable garden hose, a sewer connection under the cone, Wi-Fi and a privacy screen that can be easily hooked across the wood fence. Right across the road, by the speed limit sign, is a great fishing and swimming hole The Wi-Fi password, gate code, and my contact information will be posted behind the fence. Max trailer size: 30ft travel trailers and 34ft 5th wheels 4WD is required for trailers over 20ft Nearby Amenities: -Vida Cafe (Burgers, Sandwiches, drinks) -Ike's Pizza ( pizza, beers, chicken) -Everyone's Market (propane, gas, bait and tackle, atm, groceries) -Boat Launch -McKenzie Fish Hatchery (salmon spawning tanks, fish feeding pond) -Lloyd Knox Park at Leaburg Dam (boating, fishing, hiking) -Canal River Trail (scenic walking or biking trail)

Excellent stay!

This site has been absolutely amazing in our cross-country travels! We’ve been on the road now for over 6 months and this has been one of the best sites we’ve encountered! Was a bit tricky getting up the driveway but we managed okay and the spot is so beautiful and spacious. Chris has been such a big help making sure we have everything we need and even took the time to set up the site with bird feeders and plenty of firewood to have immersive nature experiences throughout our stay. We originally only reserved the spot for one week but ended up adding two more weeks to our stay. It’s beautiful, secluded, and pretty close to the city and the wilderness to fulfill all camping needs! Definitely a worthwhile spot to check out for any travel plans in this area!

Safe space for the night!

Safe and quiet space for the night. Electrical and sewer hooks ups were amazing to have! Spot is large and level. Close by lots of trails and river access spots!

Had a lovely time!

The spot was lovely and the directions were clear how to get there. He thought of privacy as there is a neighboring RV that shares the driveway, he created a barrier to put across. (Well done!) It was a smidge challenging to get the RV in initially as the neighbors cars were in the way for a smooth backup experience. (But not his under his control, just heads up for future campers!) The driveway is steep as he noted, we put our truck in 4wd and made it was easier to navigate. There is water, power and a super cute fireplace as well as a table with cover. This spot was perfect! Thank you Chris for hosting us
