If for some reason your vehicle won't make the mild uphill grade to get to the camper, you can park right inside the horse ring where you turn off the gravel drive into the pasture. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is strongly recommended to ensure convenient mobility

Privacy Policy Concerns
This property was beautiful. The camper was clean and adorable. For the most part, the accommodations were fine. The issue I had was one of privacy and safety. 1) There is not Wi-Fi available as stated. There is a chair near the owner’s private home (in front of her porch which she is often on or at her front window). You have to contact her directly to get the WiFi password. My cell service did not work at all. She states to bring it, but don’t except to have cell service or WiFi. 2) She insisted on meeting me. It did not fit into my schedule the day she arrived. The next day she came onto the property looking for me. 3) While I was out one day, there was an issue with the water that I did not know about. The owner and her son came into my camper without consent. When I asked her not to do that, she stated I was being rude and unpleasant. I told her I would be fine with the water I had and to please not come back on the property unless there was an emergency. I am a female and was traveling alone on this trip. 4) If you are looking for a remote/private spot, I do not recommend this one. I was traveling alone on this trip. Not only did I feel unsafe not having Wi-Fi and cell service (as advertised), there was the added stress of dealing with the host and her son violating my privacy on multiple occasions.

Peaceful and charming
My friend and I were delighted with Susan's Hipcamp. It is well-described so pay attention to the details. Susan was welcoming, showed us around and explained things, then left us alone to enjoy her land. She lives below the trailer, and when you're at the Hipcamp you can't see her house. It feels remote and peaceful. We loved the outdoor shower with hot water! There are lots of thoughtful surprises like a wonderful hammock. It was cooler up at her place while our Asheville friends were melting in the heat. Our Wifi hotspots even worked perfectly. There are shady trees and an open field. The bed was small and very comfortable. Susan is clearly someone who knows about hospitality.

Truly Magical!
I cannot say enough good things about experience staying in Susan's camper! Susan was so kind, communicative and helpful! It really was everything we hoped it would be--peaceful, restorative, fun! My fiancé and I both slept comfortably not the pullout couch. We really enjoyed taking walks around the property and enjoying the beautiful fall scenery. The gas stove worked great and we enjoyed cooking many meals on it. We are so glad we booked a stay here, and look forward to returning again!

My boyfriend stayed here for Memorial Day weekend. It was the perfect place for our little get away. Susan was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. We even had some rain and the camper was nice and cozy for us!

The Magic Mountain camper was absolutely amazing. The views and amenities were so incredible, I wish I did have to leave. Susan was an excellent host and was extremely communicative and accommodating. Being so close to Fairview and Lake Lure was another bonus as there is plenty to do within a 10 minute drive. I can't wait to come back!
