Wasn't what we had expected.

We were not aware the drive in was on a rough dirt road until less than 24 hours before the reservation when we got the actual directions. Too late to cancel. The dirt road was very rough and once we were at the site the idea of leaving to visit the park and returning everyday was not acceptable. When we tried to use the sink there was barely a trickle. We called Tammy and never got a call back. When she responded a message she pretty much blew us off about the water. For these reasons, we decided to leave after the one night. Our request for a refund for the other 2 nights was rejected. There was nobody else there the whole time so it's not like we had taken up a site that could have been rented.

Outstanding campgropunds and host!
I LOVED camping at Tammy's, as did my pup Squiggs! The setting was quiet and isolated, no real noise, other than the occasional echo in the distance off the mountains, but nothing that was jarring. The evenings were amazing, you could see all the stars, and other than a bit of wind on the first day, the conditions were perfect, and even if the wind did blow a bit the first evening, we were camping, and that's all part of the adventure! Tammy met us at the turnout and led us to camp Friday night, ensuring we arrived safely and had all the info we needed. She is an outstanding host; friendly, kind, and awesome to talk to, and if she offers you a chance to meet Ms Piggy, don't pass up the chance! Definitely recommend this campsite, you won't be disappointment, and Squiggy and I will definitely be back again!

We had an amazing time at Tammy's campsite! It was so lovely to meet and chat with her, she was very helpful with showing us around the campsite and giving very clear directions on how to find the area. Everything was very organized and set up very well for us to have the best weekend there. The bathroom was very clean as well. The people around the campsite were all very friendly and kind! We can't wait to go back!
