perfect camping experience
We loved staying at Joshua Tree Lake's camping ground. It was really clean, the shower was hot and the people were really friendly. We liked especially the fire places and the picnic area. We will definitely come back!!

Car-Camping at the Joshua Tree Lake
Had an awesome time staying at the Joshua Tree Lake RV & Camground! The whole campground setup was very professional and offered many amenities like toilets, showers, and a dish washing station. In addition, the main camp office had a ton of essentials for purchase like firewood, fire starters, matches, small bagged meals, snacks, water, merchandise, and much more. There is also the small lake or big pond by the camp office, definitely recommend feeding the ducks while there haha. Specifically for the NE 17 campsite, it is a traditional tent or car-campsite. You have a picnic table and a fire ring with a lot of open space. NE 17 is on the corner of the property and offered a decent amount of privacy. There was no one at site NE 15 which I believe would be the site behind NE 17 so that helped with privacy. Overall it was a great experience in which we had a great time being and here and feeling safe.

It was my first time in Joshua Tree and Joshua Tree Lake was the perfect place to stay (for me at least) haha! I’m very new to camping and the outdoors so this was the perfect gateway. I enjoyed the friendly staff and great site.

Very clean. Conveniently located. Very friendly staff. The spots were large and week-spaces. Showers are in the middle of a remodel and there were portable showers available but not as well kept as the rest of the property. I would definitely stay again.

This was my first time camping as a solo lady and it was very nice! I felt safe and comfortable at the site, the owners were very kind and flexible, they moved me to a better site than the one I was assigned to by the booking website. It was a great location, only like 10-15 minutes from any thing you need but several miles out so it felt secluded. Super beautiful view and surrounding area, I would definitely recommend :)

Check in was easy, the site is clean. Showers were being fixed but there was a large shower trailer. 1st weekend of March was really quiet with lots of space. Office staff and camp host were lovely and the duck pond was fun to explore. Would go back!
