Our little cabin sits on 5 acres available for you to Immerse yourself in the soothing ambience of the desert, with panoramic views of the breathtaking landscape right at your doorstep. Book your stay now and experience the harmony of nature and serenity like never before.Our cabin only has one bed that would sleep two people and a couch that would sleep one but feel free to have others join and pitch a tent anywhere on our 5 acres of land. We even love pitching our own tents on our large deck. We allow 4 other guests to join for an additional fee of $5 per person. Unwind and reconnect with nature or drive into town that's 15 mins away. Take a leisurely hike in the national park or venture out on a memorable stargazing adventure when the sunsets. Joshua Tree National Park, renowned for its striking rock formations and picturesque landscapes, is just a short drive away, offering endless opportunities for exploration and adventure. As you find yourself in the beautiful desert please always remember that there are wild animals out here. Although rare, you may run into rattlesnakes, scorpions, and tarantulas. Please be careful and aware of your surroundings, especially if wandering around the desert at night. Please note: 1. We have exterior security cameras for both your safety and ours. 2. NO EV CHARGING. You won't be able to charge your EV cars at our cabin, our electrical box can't handle the charge due to the low amperage, it will trip the system and you'll be left with no electricity in the cabin. 3. The last leg of your drive to the cabin will be on dirt roads. Please check the weather forecast when booking. It can get extremely hot in the summer time, and although we do have AC it won't go twenty degrees under the outside temperature.

Nice place in Joshua Tree. Would stay again. It’s remote and private. A good distance away so just make sure you have everything you need but not too bad if you don’t. Place was comfortable to just sit and enjoy the nighttime views. Surprisingly the bed was super comfortable along with the comforter and sheets. I have nothing negative only positive to say.

Loved it

I absolutely loved my stay at Hidden Sands, the place is so cute! It has all the appliances needed to cook and get ready and the modern day comforts to stay inside. Yet, at the same time, you feel like you're outside all the time, if not actually outside. It felt like I was living inside of a painting of the desert. No need to camp to see the stars, or watch beautiful sunrises or sunsets. As another reviewer said, it's was def scary being on my own, as it feels pretty secluded. By day 2 I was a lot calmer, and by day 4 I really didn't want to leave. What an amazing spot to take some time and think - and then spend time in Joshua Tree as well.

Great space in a location that feels very private. No hot water but the A/C and heat worked. We enjoyed the amenities such as tea and shower essentials. Easily accessible.

We had a wonderful stay at Hidden Sands! The home is charming and neat. The night skies were amazing. When we couldn’t get the hot plate to work the host responded immediately and told us where we could find the back up one already waiting in the house.

My family loved staying here! It was quiet, secluded for the area and exactly what we were looking for. You are not too far from the city should you need anything either. A couple FYI's to reiterate from the official listing - neither of which are a problem, but Arisara is being candid about these: Nearby roads are unpaved and they definitely have loose sand in some spots. We made it just fine in a 2WD Pathfinder, but it is something to keep in mind. The HVAC unit is not there to keep the place "cool" 24/7 - it's to take the edge off. We arrived around 6:30PM and were perfectly comfortable by 8PM or so. Again, this is no problem at all if you are expecting it! Overall, we loved this location and would gladly stay again!
