Twenty acres of BLM woodland bordering the back of the property Driveway right off hwy 49 25 minutes to Downyville with world class down hill biking 30 minutes to Nevada city. ( shopping, restaurants and nightlife) 10 minutes to fabulous swimming holes on the nearby Yuba river. Lots of available parking. North San Juan is 10 miles away and has a care that has great pizza. You also have the Golden Nugget store 3 miles away for gas and snacks. Hiking trails everywhere. The land is very quiet and private. Lots of shade with trees. Lots of space for trailers rvs or places to camp tent. The water is solar so it works from 10 to 3pm. There is a clean portable toilet nearby.

Camp Freedom Tent Camping
Great camping spot hidden within the forest, and I say hidden because it’s kinda hard to find. But definitely worth it. If you just want a private place to camp with your family close to the Yuba river, this is it. We stayed the whole weekend and had a great time. Dylan is very communicative and he will get in touch with you even before you book. Which is definitely appreciated. Overall great experience.

Quiet and private
Great private spot to avoid the crowded campgrounds around Downieville. Super close to awesome mountain biking and world class fishing. Nice property to stay at! Dylan will tell you, and don’t ignore it, bring big spray. The mosquitos are vicious.
