Our property sits on a very open and sunny 10 acres at the base of the majestic Ironside Mountain. The Trinity River is a short drive away to countless different swimming holes and river access for whitewater rafting, kayaking and fishing. Mountain Biking, dirt biking, hiking trails and horseback trails are right outside our back door. We have a paddock for livestock if you want to bring your horse for an overnighter. Our yurt is available for 4 guests and a furry friend. It has one bedroom and a loft and is fully furnished with cooking amenities and linens. Private entrance and lot of private space to feel like it’s all yours!Our yurt has all of the amenities you’ll need for a glamping experience! Private entrance and very private location. We are backed up against the Shasta Trinity National Forest. There is a short trail to Hennessy Creek right out your front door. Amazing views of the Mable Mountains and Ironside Mountain. Trinity River is a short drive away. A modern outdoor soaking tub is ready for you to relax and unwind!

Box Canyon Yurt

A beautif yurt on spectacular land!

The only thing better than Dominy’s land and yurt is the woman herself! She is such a welcoming and caring host, thoughtful and helpful as well. The yurt was easy to find and located privately on ten acres of beautiful, secluded land. The space easily accommodated our family of four, and was stocked with everything we could have needed to comfortably stay for several days. The surrounding area provided us with plenty to explore; if a nature lover, do yourself a favor and plan to stay for at least a few days! We’ll certainly be back to stay again, this was such a positive and memorable experience visiting this wonderful space. Truly a treat!

Box Canyon Yurt

Great relaxing spot in nature

Rustic, but not a difficult drive in. Not hard to turn around my long sprinter. Beautiful homestead on 10 acres. Dominy and Cesar are very warm, friendly and welcoming people. They shared their farm fresh eggs and some high quality produce from the farm. The yurt is beautiful and they take great care of it. This is a great place to just relax and forget about time. We even forgot a few things there and Dominy was so sweet to send it to us. Definitely recommend this place. 10 out of 10!!!
