We also have 3 units inside the lodge for the people who need just a step up from glamping, but not quite the whole hotel experience. These are beautiful comfortable rooms with half baths in the rooms. The showers are located in the lodge bathhouse. WE have the Jungle themed room, the Equestrian themed room and the Honeymoon Suite. Each unit comes equipped with its own hot tub. (To book any of these units, just send us a message and we will reserve it for you. The prices for these units are different than that campsite and glamping site prices.)
The Grist Mill is also available for rent too! This is a very romantic, yet rustic getaway equipped with a half bath as well. Very secluded and private overlooking the spring on one side and the water fall on the other. Sit outside on the deck and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature and at night the sound of the waterfall will lull you to sleep. The shower is located in the Lodge bathhouse. (To book this unit you must send a message to us and we will reserve it for you. The price is different than the campsites but we will go over that with you)

Bring bug spray and sun screen. If you need something, don't worry! There is a Dollar General, a gas station and a small cafe within walking distance.
We have 38 acres of camping sites nature trails for hiking and mountain biking.
Guests can park right on their site, or they have the option of parking and hiking into the woods to set up their site a bit more remote and off the beaten path.
This is rustic camping. We have a bathhouse located at the campsites with showers. The bathhouse at the Great Lodge
hereas we do have garbage cans, we prefer that anything you bring into the property, you bring out with you.
We allow campfires.
The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit.
We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish.
Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. It appears to be ‘off the beaten path’, yet it is close enough to civilization so that even the most seasoned camper can make a quick run to store should he or she need something not found in nature.
Camp Seminole Spring is mid-way (approx.. 22 miles) between Ocala and Gainesville, Florida, which are two thriving cities in this area of Florida. Ocala, the ‘horse capital of the world’ showcases a brand new multi-billion-dollar equestrian center which draws people from all over the world.
This scenic property has an artesian spring which pushes out 1.6 million gallons of water per day rated among the top three percent of water in the world with an 8.4 natural pH. This water fills the pond and then continues on to flow into Orange Creek.
Camp Seminole Springs was established in the 1940’s as a honeymoon resort and campground. The founders built a heart-shaped ‘pond-spring’ which is filled with the crystal-clear water pushed out from the spring where guests can lounge by the beach or gaze down into the bottom through the glass-like water or take a refreshing swim.
At the top of the hill overlooking the heart-shaped spring, one will find the rustic Great Lodge where guests can come and mingle with each other, enjoy a relaxing conversation and a drink on the veranda or just sit and watch the activity in and around the spring.

History of our location Count De Galvez awarded a land grant on Garcon Point to Antonio Garzon following his 1781 Siege of Pensacola in consideration of “his good services rendered as an interpreter to the Indians of Pensacola." The grant was held for 35 years before Maria Garzon, who survived husband Antonio, sold the land they called Garzon’s Point to Joseph (Jose) Bonifay.
The land uses were favorable for cattle grazing and turpentining through the 1800s. Many more pioneer families moved into the area and began their own business in the booming industrial opportunities of western Florida. It came to be known as Yellow River Marsh State Buffer Preserve on June 12, 2000, when it was purchased by the state of Florida to protect rare and environmentally sensitive lands, plants and animals.
Through generous donations, Preservation 2000 and the Florida Forever Program, more land was added to protect contiguous habitat of the Garcon Ecosystem.
Today Yellow River Marsh Preserve State Park provides recreational opportunities for hiking and nature study along the Great Florida Birding Trail among rare and endemic plant species and within one of Florida’s oldest multi-cultural frontiers.The preserve is located in Santa Rosa County on Garcon Point, which separates Escambia Bay from Blackwater Bay.
Nearly 20 rare and endangered species of plants 🪴 and animals make their homes along the bay and its wet prairies, dome swamps and flatwoods.

This property has been in my family for decades. My Husband and I were married under the oaks and have had our share of campfires out there.
Down a hidden gravel drive with wetlands on either side you will find a completely fenced in field surrounded by pine, oak, and swamp maple trees. There are two ponds located on the property both stocked with bass, bluegill, and sunfish. The front pond is home to many natural Florida wildlife and is a great location to bird watch.
Located a few miles from Brooksville and the Suncoast Parkway, this quiet and peaceful setting is just 5 minutes from the parking area and trailhead for the Suncoast Trail and 10 miles from the famous Weeki Wachee Springs, where you can spend the day at the local park or float down the river with the manatees.
Withlacoochee State Park and other natural preserves with trail access and kayaking are only a short distance away, and Dames Cave, Homosassa Springs, and Chasawiska Springs are all within a ~20-minute drive as well. Spending a day at the beach is easy with plenty of options along the Nature Coast. We’re also less than an hour from Tampa and Clearwater and two hours from Orlando.
A perfect weekend get-away for anyone looking to “unplug,” Smokey Acres is also a great stop for those passing through the area. We are a close distance to many racing, livestock, boating and fishing events. We have no problem accommodating whatever you’re towing!
Whether you'd like a leisurely day on the river or an adventure in the Gulf, there are plenty of boating options nearby. Be sure to make it back to the property in time to enjoy amazing sunsets that bring peace and tranquility to your experience.

The farm has its humble beginnings in the summer of 2015 with four acres, four goats, and four chickens. Founded on the love of animals and a passion for sustainability, we remain committed to compassionate practices and the most natural care of our land and animals as possible.
As stewards of the land and herd, we believe we have a responsibility to share nature's blessings. We offer several agritourism opportunities on the farm, from farmstays to day visits. Our primary program is to serve area youth with agricultural education and the opportunities to work with our goats. All proceeds from bookings go toward our programming.
Please note that February and March is transition time on the farm when we are planting new pastures and working on projects so photos might be different during those 2 months!
It is our goal to create a space where our visitors can have fun and learn about the animals who share that space. We also strive to serve as a valuable resource for first time goat owners. The Grist Mill is also available for rent too! This is a very romantic, yet rustic getaway equipped with a half bath as well. Very secluded and private overlooking the spring on one side and the water fall on the other. Sit outside on the deck and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature and at night the sound of the waterfall will lull you to sleep. The shower is located in the Lodge bathhouse. (To book this unit you must send a message to us and we will reserve it for you. The price is different than the campsites but we will go over that with you)

Bring bug spray and sun screen. If you need something, don't worry! There is a Dollar General, a gas station and a small cafe within walking distance.
We have 38 acres of camping sites nature trails for hiking and mountain biking.
Guests can park right on their site, or they have the option of parking and hiking into the woods to set up their site a bit more remote and off the beaten path.
This is rustic camping. We have a bathhouse located at the campsites with showers. The bathhouse at the Great Lodge
hereas we do have garbage cans, we prefer that anything you bring into the property, you bring out with you.
We allow campfires.
The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit.
We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish.
Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. It appears to be ‘off the beaten path’, yet it is close enough to civilization so that even the most seasoned camper can make a quick run to store should he or she need something not found in nature.
Camp Seminole Spring is mid-way (approx.. 22 miles) between Ocala and Gainesville, Florida, which are two thriving cities in this area of Florida. Ocala, the ‘horse capital of the world’ showcases a brand new multi-billion-dollar equestrian center which draws people from all over the world.
This scenic property has an artesian spring which pushes out 1.6 million gallons of water per day rated among the top three percent of water in the world with an 8.4 natural pH. This water fills the pond and then continues on to flow into Orange Creek.
Camp Seminole Springs was established in the 1940’s as a honeymoon resort and campground. The founders built a heart-shaped ‘pond-spring’ which is filled with the crystal-clear water pushed out from the spring where guests can lounge by the beach or gaze down into the bottom through the glass-like water or take a refreshing swim.
At the top of the hill overlooking the heart-shaped spring, one will find the rustic Great Lodge where guests can come and mingle with each other, enjoy a relaxing conversation and a drink on the veranda or just sit and watch the activity in and around the spring.

History of our location Count De Galvez awarded a land grant on Garcon Point to Antonio Garzon following his 1781 Siege of Pensacola in consideration of “his good services rendered as an interpreter to the Indians of Pensacola." The grant was held for 35 years before Maria Garzon, who survived husband Antonio, sold the land they called Garzon’s Point to Joseph (Jose) Bonifay.
The land uses were favorable for cattle grazing and turpentining through the 1800s. Many more pioneer families moved into the area and began their own business in the booming industrial opportunities of western Florida. It came to be known as Yellow River Marsh State Buffer Preserve on June 12, 2000, when it was purchased by the state of Florida to protect rare and environmentally sensitive lands, plants and animals.
Through generous donations, Preservation 2000 and the Florida Forever Program, more land was added to protect contiguous habitat of the Garcon Ecosystem.
Today Yellow River Marsh Preserve State Park provides recreational opportunities for hiking and nature study along the Great Florida Birding Trail among rare and endemic plant species and within one of Florida’s oldest multi-cultural frontiers.The preserve is located in Santa Rosa County on Garcon Point, which separates Escambia Bay from Blackwater Bay.
Nearly 20 rare and endangered species of plants 🪴 and animals make their homes along the bay and its wet prairies, dome swamps and flatwoods.

This property has been in my family for decades. My Husband and I were married under the oaks and have had our share of campfires out there.
Down a hidden gravel drive with wetlands on either side you will find a completely fenced in field surrounded by pine, oak, and swamp maple trees. There are two ponds located on the property both stocked with bass, bluegill, and sunfish. The front pond is home to many natural Florida wildlife and is a great location to bird watch.
Located a few miles from Brooksville and the Suncoast Parkway, this quiet and peaceful setting is just 5 minutes from the parking area and trailhead for the Suncoast Trail and 10 miles from the famous Weeki Wachee Springs, where you can spend the day at the local park or float down the river with the manatees.
Withlacoochee State Park and other natural preserves with trail access and kayaking are only a short distance away, and Dames Cave, Homosassa Springs, and Chasawiska Springs are all within a ~20-minute drive as well. Spending a day at the beach is easy with plenty of options along the Nature Coast. We’re also less than an hour from Tampa and Clearwater and two hours from Orlando.
A perfect weekend get-away for anyone looking to “unplug,” Smokey Acres is also a great stop for those passing through the area. We are a close distance to many racing, livestock, boating and fishing events. We have no problem accommodating whatever you’re towing!
Whether you'd like a leisurely day on the river or an adventure in the Gulf, there are plenty of boating options nearby. Be sure to make it back to the property in time to enjoy amazing sunsets that bring peace and tranquility to your experience.

As stewards of the land and herd, we believe we have a responsibility to share nature's blessings. We offer several agritourism opportunities on the farm, from farmstays to day visits. Our primary program is to serve area youth with agricultural education and the opportunities to work with our goats. All proceeds from bookings go toward our programming.

I had an absolute blast at this HipCamp.
Joseph was super friendly, and the property is a great place for a mental reset.
I stayed in the glamping tent which was extremely reasonable.
You are provided running water, there’s a bathhouse available (shower, washer and dryer.)
There are trails you can walk featuring lush vegetation.
I will be back soon for a multi day stay!

The coop was a perfect little size for a solo traveler. I stayed on a cold night and it was warm and cozy. There’s a little trail close to the coop that goes down the hillside to the lake. The goats were so cute! I walked back for just a little and they were all so funny and friendly. I enjoyed my over night stay and felt very safe but secluded when I wanted to be.

The RV was a home away from home. It was great for a family of five. We had a separate space from our kids and our kids loved the bunk beds. It’s easy to cook inside and outside. The hosts are extremely attentive and responded quickly to our many questions. We loved hiking through the cypress trees. Just watch out for the roots. Signs warn you of them too. We loved the communal space around the bathroom and showers. Our kids played in the sand for hours. We loved taking the tour to meet the goats, house pig and horses. You get to feed the horses too which is really fun. We can’t wait for our next trip. Our kids were sad to leave.

Joe and his wife deserve recognition because what they’ve built here is honestly kind of magical.
From the second you arrive you can feel how much thought went into the place. It feels safe, intentional, and just… good. There’s a peaceful little walking path, small details everywhere, and this unspoken positive energy where even other guests say good morning like normal humans instead of pretending nobody exists.
Joe goes out of his way to make sure you’re set up with whatever you need without hovering. You can tell this isn’t just a side project — they actually care and they’re still expanding and making it even better.
I stayed in the glamping tent and it was easily the best sleep I’ve had in weeks. As someone who spends about 7 months a year on the road and drives 60,000+ miles annually, I don’t say that lightly. I’ve stayed in a lot of places. This is easily one of the best.
My dogs were welcomed like they were just part of the deal (which any traveler with dogs knows is rare), the shower was great, the bathroom was clean and well kept, and everything just worked the way you hope places will but often don’t.
My only real regret is not finding this place sooner. If I had known about it earlier, I would have happily stayed for weeks instead of just a couple nights.
This is the kind of spot you hope people treat with respect so it remains what it is, but I know Joe will keep it that way.

Me and my girlfriend rented this cabin on a spur of the moment weekend getaway. Overall we were very satisfied. It has a twin bed but it's very comfortable and was a cozy little cabin. The biggest complaint I had about the cabin was it had a hay rake hanging over the bed that I hit my head on pretty regularly during our stay. The shower and toilet are outdoors as well as the kitchen area. If you need running water and ac this definitely isn't the place for you but if you want a quite place to recharge for a weekend this is the place for you. Leonard is a quite and nice guy.

Weekend Trip to J and P Creekside Retreat
We loved our stay in the A frame. The setting is beautiful and private and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches such as the ice machine, fairy lights and relaxing hammocks. Also the large bed was so comfortable, we slept really well. We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend John's place.

Nothing but peace and serenity at this place. Great hosts, very welcoming, great communication and overall just a beautiful property. Plenty of campers to choose from, I stayed in the Beehive. Very quaint and charming, vintage vibes, and all the amenities you need. I highly recommend this place as a little getaway to recharge and breathe in the country air.

Very nice facilities. The little AC unit made it very comfy inside the greenhouse. Quiet area nice hammock and picnic table. We stayed with our pet macaw. A fun, affordable outing!

I had another amazing stay at the Serene Forested Blueberry Farm this weekend! As always, I felt right at home in the peaceful, forested surroundings. I especially loved that they provided ingredients for s’mores—such a thoughtful touch. The hosts are always incredibly friendly, and the whole experience is truly worth it. I can’t wait to come back!

1 night at Serene Forested Blueberry Farm
What a gorgeous oasis! The stay was absolutely perfect- I stayed in the Little LuLu and she was a gem! Perfect sitting area, comfy bed, full kitchen and a cute lil ' yard' with seating and a fire pit. Just steps away- an outdoor shower and the cutest chicken along with a very friendly cat. I'd give this stay a 10/10 and can't wait to come back.
I got to chat with the owners and learned more about the different trailers and left with an armful of fresh eggs.

5 nights at Malakai 🏕 different by design
The property is really nice, it has some pretty cool plants and an abundance of birds that sing peacefully in the morning.. I unfortunately didn’t try the trails, but they were lit up and cute looking at the trail heads. Joe is very friendly and helped out when I had questions or concerns. The camp is setup to promote community, everyone was very welcoming and neighborly.
