We had a wonderful stay at Bowman’s landing campsite 1! We came to visit nearby springs and it was a convenient location. My husband kept saying that the place felt magical. It felt quiet, remote, and woodsy. We loved walking over to the dock at sunset and in the morning. The hosts were friendly and helpful and gave us a tour upon arrival. The primitive site is a semi-far walk from the bathhouse (at least in the dark), so the hosts offer bikes to use if desired. We hope to return one day!

My friends and I go camping on the regular. We had a favorite place to go. Bowmans River Landing is our new favorite place! It's beautiful, the folks here are so nice and the vibe is welcoming. We look forward to staying here again.

The place was peaceful, beautiful, clean and rustic! The staff was attentive and helpful! Clean bathrooms and a coffee/tea area was a plus! We will be back!

This place is awesome! We wanted to stay another night, but I had to work. Instead, we headed back to Bradenton and stopped in Cedar Key for a couple of hours.
During our weekend stay at Bowman’s, we rented kayaks and paddle boards with an outfitter called Rum 138 and it was such a beautiful & chill run.
Jesse, the host at Bowman’s was very accommodating and showed us around as soon as we arrived. It’s so beautiful, the kids enjoyed playing in the woods and you can ride bikes in the nature trail around there and just set them free. The sunset colors in the sky are amazing and you’re right along the Santa Fe.
We cooked deliciousness on the Blackstone we brought, but each Campsite has a little grill on the fire pit if you wanted to use that (which we will probably do next time.)
They have Community bikes to use and if you want to bring an old well working bike you don’t use anymore & want to donate to them, I’m sure they’d appreciate that!
We rented one of each of the cabins…, one with kitchen, one glamper, etc. I can’t wait to go back! Plenty of nature, chickens, etc. Jesse is very informative about the area and cool quirky things. Awesome times!! I do have lots of photos. I will add to this later.

What a magical place! We booked Campsite 2 for 2 nights and could jot have been happier! Nestled in a beautiful forest setting right next to the Sante Fe River, Bowman’s Landing is absolutely the way to go if you are looking for a safe, clean spot to enjoy all that nature has to offer! We also appreciated the retro bikes on property to explore the grounds and make a quick trip to the coffee station and fully stocked, clean restrooms. We enjoyed every minute and can’t wait to come back!

The cabin is clean, we'll kept and comfortable. The hosts are very accomodating and ensure you enjoy your stay. I stayed solo this night, but I think this will be a great place to bring my wife and daughter in the future

We had a lovely time here! The campground was well laid out and the bathrooms were clean and well-stocked. Waking up and hanging out on the banks of the Santa Fe river was more delightful than I imagined. This an excellent site and we would happily stay here again!

A very clean and nice campground. We had an absolutely wonderful time. Jessy gave us great tips of the Santa Fe River and drove us up to the bridge so we could take our kajak out on the river and got back to the campground. we saw oter and turles

Loved Bowman’s and will definitely go back! Site #2 was right next to the launch so it was easy to get our kayaks in the river. The site was tucked just enough away from the rest of the property that you had some quiet without feeling completely isolated. The hosts were kind and available to help. They have wood for purchase on site which was really nice. The indoor bathroom was a great feature especially with the hot shower. They also have a microwave and coffee maker in a communal space. Ichetucknee Springs park was only a ~10 min drive away too if you want to explore outside of camp.

Absolutely fantastic hipcamp, this is was the exact reason why we love to hipcamp: connection, safety, and adventure. By far my favorite so far. The host was so lovely and immediately made this place feel safe and like home. From the thoughtful details like a tree swing and coffee station to the cozy cabin itself with a fire pit, we felt at home miles from our own. I will most definitely be back with my family and friends.

This place was amazing! Very peaceful place, with tons to do. They had a coffee bar with a community fridge, and a grill area with tons of options to use. Also the restroom area was very clean and they provided heaters or fans in there. There is a sand pile for the kids with tonka trucks to play, 2 swings around the grounds, boats, and my favorite part was the bicycles to use!! There is only 2 tents sites, we stayed on #2 which I recommend for a perfect view of the river. Also the cabins were really cool, especially the two in the woods away from thr river if you want to be secluded. The hosts were very friendly, offering tons of advice on the area, even told us to go across the river fkr hiking the war grounds to hunt for artifacts which we had no idea was there. I cant wait to go back!!

This place is so cool! We rented the RV spot 9 and really enjoyed the vibe out there. The property is beautiful and peaceful, plus very close to springs. Loved relaxing down by the river with our friends that also joined. Will be back for sure sometime. Thanks!

The hosts were fantastically helpful and welcoming. They hooked us up with a great kayaking trip down the Santa Fe. The site is beautiful and quiet with all the amenities needed and so many thoughtful additional touches. We only stayed 2 nights and are already talking about coming back & staying longer next time. Bowman's is a true slice of old Florida.

Glamping Cabin 8 near Ginnie
I loved the cabin and the property. There were people around enough to point us in the right direction for the bathroom but still we had the place to ourselves. We were dreaming of the next time we could go back on the car ride home.

Wonderful staff on site to assist with anything you need. Our campsite was large and beautiful with view of the river. Great location very close to several springs to enjoy.

We loved staying in Campsite 2 by the River! The views were great and it was nice to be within walking distance of the bathhouse (very nice and clean) but still far enough away from the cabins and other campers to really feel the seclusion. We liked it so much we stayed on our way to South Florida and then stayed here again on our way back home!
