Boondocker sites are great for easy in-out dry camping, making for an early start for your trip out of town. Driving paths are covered with gravel throughout the property. Boondocker 2 is by currently closed for renovations. We are just 10 minutes from the I-17 (Lake Pleasant is just a 30-45 minute drive). Phoenix is a close commute, where you will find many more amenities. Rent an off-road vehicle, boat for the lake (or bring yours!), or plan a tour and ENJOY YOUR STAY! We are more than happy to help facilitate your time here. We welcome pets, but do note there are occasional encounters with neighborhood dogs and plenty of wildlife. For their safety, best to keep them leashed or bring an enclosure. In the future, we plan to provide an enclosure for dogs to safely play and run off-leash. Daytime arrival highly recommended! Hike through the mountains to see great views from above. Dip your line in the Colorado River to catch your dinner. No Pop-up campers, Campervans, or Cars Pets are allowed. Meadview Arizona was founded in 1826 by Jedediah Smith on his Southwest Expedition in search for Beaver! Staying a small remote and quiet town it can feel like it would have in the Wild West. We obtained our campground from a couple that owned it for 20 years but just weren't able to do to it what they had originally planned.. So it was essentially a blank canvas for us to create!! We are the closest town to the Grand Canyon SKYWALK, which is just 40 minutes from us. Meadview, the town we are located, is the only place to obtain Free Entree to the Lake Mead Recreational Center.  Our Campground just 10 miles from Lake Mead and 17 Miles from the Colorado River.  We have outstanding Lookouts, Top notch Stargazing, Gold Prospecting, Bird Watching, Fishing, Off Roading etc. Some of the Best Desert Off-Roading through trails within the Joshua Tree National Forest, Please note you must bring your own OHV, horse, etc, there is currently no rentals available.  We do have Kayaks to rent upon arrival. There is a hidden water fall in the Grapevine Wash that you can get to with a 4 wheel vehicle and you hike in about 15 minutes in. Stunning views and gorgeous natural spring and waterfall. We are 45 minutes off the 93 Freeway Free WIFI provided at the office!..  The town doesn't always have a powerful signal, please keep that in mind in your travels.  However, if you have Verizon, it gets GREAT service! There are three restaurants in town, all just one mile from site... The Boathouse, Anchor Smokehouse and Fishermans Landing Bar.  We have a Bakery called Rosemary and Thyme that serves Delicious foods & Pastries and makes great coffees.  There is also a Gas n Grub that has ice, propane etc... 5 miles away is a Family Dollar store which we lovingly call the "Mall of Meadview"

Right outside our entrance going North on 80th Street you can hike over to the Grapevine Wash which is a short walk away from the Cave Creek Town Trail System for hiking and horseback riding, and if you’re adventurous you can hike up 2 miles of a 800’ climb on a gravel road/trails to “Mexican Hat” for an even more incredible view! We are a 30 amp full hook up (sewer, water & electrical) for 33’ RV’s and living quarters horse trailers. You will also have access to our community laundry area, with a large garbage can to dump a bag if needed. Some suggestions for town; Grab some quick delicous breakfast and coffee at Janey’s. Or American cuisine lunch at The Horny Toad, a Mexican cuisine dinner while watching the turtles in the pond at El Encanto! Ofrenda, right at the end of the road, also has great authentic Mexican cuisine. Many restaurants to choose from all within a short drive. Bashas, Safeway, Target, and Walmart and Sprouts are all within a 3-6 mile drive too! We have two turnout pens for horses. That are located right behind where you will park your trailer. They both have a cover that provides some shade, as well as running water. We do not provide any feed, so please make sure you bring some! We ask that you please do not feed any horses that do not belong to you. Or go into any pen that your horse is not in. For safety and respect :) Thank you in advance. Gather around the propane operated firepit in the backyard for some R&R. Bring a hammock 'cuz there are unlimited opportunities for stringing one up! Meadview Arizona was founded in 1826 by Jedediah Smith on his Southwest Expedition in search for Beaver! Staying a small remote and quiet town it can feel like it would have in the Wild West. We obtained our campground from a couple that owned it for 20 years but just weren't able to do to it what they had originally planned.. So it was essentially a blank canvas for us to create!! We are the closest town to the Grand Canyon SKYWALK, which is just 40 minutes from us. Meadview, the town we are located, is the only place to obtain Free Entree to the Lake Mead Recreational Center.  Our Campground just 10 miles from Lake Mead and 17 Miles from the Colorado River.  We have outstanding Lookouts, Top notch Stargazing, Gold Prospecting, Bird Watching, Fishing, Off Roading etc. Some of the Best Desert Off-Roading through trails within the Joshua Tree National Forest, Please note you must bring your own OHV, horse, etc, there is currently no rentals available.  We do have Kayaks to rent upon arrival. There is a hidden water fall in the Grapevine Wash that you can get to with a 4 wheel vehicle and you hike in about 15 minutes in. Stunning views and gorgeous natural spring and waterfall. We are 45 minutes off the 93 Freeway Free WIFI provided at the office!..  The town doesn't always have a powerful signal, please keep that in mind in your travels.  However, if you have Verizon, it gets GREAT service! There are three restaurants in town, all just one mile from site... The Boathouse, Anchor Smokehouse and Fishermans Landing Bar.  We have a Bakery called Rosemary and Thyme that serves Delicious foods & Pastries and makes great coffees.  There is also a Gas n Grub that has ice, propane etc... 5 miles away is a Family Dollar store which we lovingly call the "Mall of Meadview"

Right outside our entrance going North on 80th Street you can hike over to the Grapevine Wash which is a short walk away from the Cave Creek Town Trail System for hiking and horseback riding, and if you’re adventurous you can hike up 2 miles of a 800’ climb on a gravel road/trails to “Mexican Hat” for an even more incredible view! We are a 30 amp full hook up (sewer, water & electrical) for 33’ RV’s and living quarters horse trailers. You will also have access to our community laundry area, with a large garbage can to dump a bag if needed. Some suggestions for town; Grab some quick delicous breakfast and coffee at Janey’s. Or American cuisine lunch at The Horny Toad, a Mexican cuisine dinner while watching the turtles in the pond at El Encanto! Ofrenda, right at the end of the road, also has great authentic Mexican cuisine. Many restaurants to choose from all within a short drive. Bashas, Safeway, Target, and Walmart and Sprouts are all within a 3-6 mile drive too! We have two turnout pens for horses. That are located right behind where you will park your trailer. They both have a cover that provides some shade, as well as running water. We do not provide any feed, so please make sure you bring some! We ask that you please do not feed any horses that do not belong to you. Or go into any pen that your horse is not in. For safety and respect :) Thank you in advance. Sacred Springs is truly one of those places that stays with your heart long after you leave. From the moment I arrived, I felt wrapped in peace, love, and nature’s magic. Being able to cook a meal in the community room made everything feel so homey and special — like gathering with family in the middle of the wilderness. One of my favorite moments was getting to use the kayaks and paddle boards on the lazy river and in the grotto. Floating through that serene canyon water felt like stepping into a hidden paradise. And don’t even get me started on the fresh organic chicken eggs — absolutely delicious and such a beautiful touch of farm-to-table love!🍳 I also couldn’t resist the adorable Sacred Springs hat and sweatshirt — they’re not just cute, they feel like a little piece of this magical place I get to take home with me.🥰 Gary and Daren have created something truly sacred here — a place full of heart, beauty, and genuine care for every soul who visits. Beautiful spot to camp in an amazing community. Our hosts and neighbors were all friendly, caring, and welcoming. The campsites were nice and tidy, the bathroom, shower, and laundry facilities were all in great shape. Patagonia is small, but the campsite is an easy walk to the main street. We only moved our vehicle once to start a bike route. Highly recommend!!

The pictures are beautiful and eye-catching, but they barely scratch the surface of the alternate universe you step into when you arrive at El Pais Motel and Campground. From the moment we pulled in, it felt like we were part of something special. The drive-in movie night with popcorn, the food truck and snacks, on-site laundry, and the welcoming community space all made the stay incredibly comfortable and memorable. Add in the creativity woven throughout the property, and it easily became one of our favorite stays to date. Huge thanks to Jade and Karl for creating such a fun, thoughtful, and unique experience. We will absolutely be back!!

Came to Shiloh Ranch with four friends on a road trip this past week and it was by far our best stop. Sandee offered us kindness and hospitality, helped us with directions to our next destination, and informed us about the nature around us. The casita itself was well stocked with plenty of blankets, cooking supplies, and seasonings The property was stunning and we had a blast looking at the night sky and rummaging around looking for petrified wood I could not recommend this place enough.
