My wife, Peggy, and I have lived on this property since 1984 and have never fallen out of love with it. It is the perfect combination of a rural setting yet only 10 minutes away from town. We are outdoor enthusiasts and have many wonderful family memories of not only camping by the river but of backcountry excursions as well. It was on one of these adventures, in Oregon to be exact, that Peg and our two daughters discovered yurts. They rented one at an Oregon State campground and truly loved the experience. Having a yurt on our property has added even more of a sense of serenity and peace to our home. It is with this in mind that we want to share it with others. There's something uniquely appealing and comforting, a feeling of being embraced by the round space and the abundance of natural light that lends itself to living close to nature.
