We had a fun and relaxing camping trip. The kids spent hours paddling on the dam! Our dog had the best time experiencing farm life with plenty of room to roam. Being surrounded by bush was relaxing and felt very private. Thanks for the delicious raspberries!

My first experience with Hipcamp and travelling solo in a van and could not have gone better. The dam view location was perfect and Rob and Leanne great hosts, made for a very enjoyable 2 night stay. I will definitely be back.

My daughter asked if she could take her friends camping for her 17th birthday… a ‘parenting win’ so I had to say yes! Luckily, I found Whispering Gums on here and immediately decided it was perfect. We weren’t disappointed in the slightest. A stunning spot, great setup, really friendly and generous hosts. We’ll be back, hopefully many times!

Absolutely had the best time - the farm is so beautiful with 3 very cute farm dogs in a beautiful part of the Bunyip state park ❤️ The hosts are very good at communicating and such a lovely family ❤️ our kids adored the animals and watching our for platypus which my husband saw❤️ highly recommend ❤️ psa no reception ( which was really refreshing) and don't go via camp road unless you have the right vehicle

We had such a great time staying at Miller’s farm! The facilities were excellent - well decked out kitchen and super clean toilet. We loved the chickens and will be back to meet the rest of the animals too! 10/10 ☺️

We loved staying in a tent at Platypus. The site has private access to a lake with great access to explore the lake with the kayaks provided by the host. My son particularly liked that there were kids' kayaks for him to practice padding.
The communication with the host Jana was easy and enjoyable.

Such a beautiful property and nice spot for a quick get away out of Melbourne. The host was so lovely and welcoming. The fresh berries were unreal!! Highly recommend this property.

Gunya Flat campsite is surrounded by large and beautiful trees and sounds of birds including kookaburra, curra wong, grey butcher bird, owls, and others. Huge area and plenty of space all around us to enjoy nature and escape civilization despite being only 1h15m drive out of Melbourne.
The camp site was right next to a section of blackberry trees in late season and Jana generously let us roam freely to explore the farm and enjoy the berries.
There’s heaps of areas to explore around the camp site including multiple berry farms, creek, and canoe boats. Established trees and wildlife throughout. I spotted signs of wombats, and glimpsed a deer. Heaps of kookaburras.
We recommend you purchase delicious fresh picked berries straight from the source on your way out. You won’t believe how good they taste!

Fabulous, private campsite run by lovely hosts. We were a group of 6 with a small camper van and a camping trailer - enough flat space for both vehicles (required levelling). Lovely shady area amongst the gum trees, with the convenience of a very tidy camping hut which includes table and chairs. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful view by the dam. Very relaxing. Enjoyed camp-fires, a walk in Bunyip State Forest, Rokeby market and visits from Rob and his friendly dogs Max and Marley. Perfect for our first Hipcamp.

We had a great stay at the Platypus campsite. The setting next to the lake is peacuful and secluded, with abundant wildlife, and there is plenty of shade. Jana was a very friendly and helpful host. There are boats if you want to go for a paddle. The site is on a slope so there is limited level space to sit a tent or caravan without being on an angle, though we were able to find a spot for our 2x2m tent. We'll happily stay stay again, though hope the site is graded at some point.

We absolutely loved the site. It was very private, nice views and Rob was an amazing host! Our son loved the dogs and the addition of the fairy lights was a very nice experience. Would definitely recommend and we will be back!

Jana's land and his hospitality was 100% awesome. Hubby, I and our dog had a peaceful few days enjoying the sounds and sights of nature - kookaburras, wombats, parrots, wallabies and the best berries I've ever tasted.

We had a fantastic time at Miller’s Farm. It was very easy to get to from the city and host’s Kate & Darren made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The site was spacious and peaceful, perfect for our young boy who explored every opportunity he got.
We were given a great tour of the farm and our little boy got feed and pet many of the animals while Kate told us of all their different personalities. Couldn’t recommend this more to families of young children who want and easy place to go with some extra entertainment for the little ones.

We had a great time camping at Millers farm! We were very impressed with the facilities available to us and the peaceful open space. Our toddler adored the animals and loved being able to visit with them and help with feeding. We will definitely be back again!
