The place consists of privacy, use of kayaks and safety gear, fishing rods, boat ramp, and a lovely getaway for a couple or family. We've also recently added a basketball court, beach volleyball, mini football oval and soccer goals. Lots to do! Come here to enjoy the peace, and six meters of clean clear water at your camp door if you please. Fire pits are provided and we offer firewood for sale if needed, outside of fire-ban season - No firewood is to be taken from the property unless paid for. This is a unique camp experience. All we ask is you leave the place as you found it. The stars in the night sky are second to none, we hope you enjoy your stay as much as we do. IMPORTANT: We do not offer toilet facilities, so all campers MUST be self-contained, and take all waste with them. In order to protect the fragile river system, strictly no dumping of waste or greywater on the property. Waterski boats are strictly prohibited. We require at least 12 hours notice before your stay, but if you do need a last-minute spot, please feel free to send us an enquiry and we may be able to accommodate you. Whilst pets are welcome, please inform us prior to booking if you are planning to bring pets along. We kindly ask that you keep them at your site as do not want to upset other guests with barking dogs, and wish to protect our wildlife.

The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks. We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies. Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by. Additionally, we have now entered our Fire Danger Period for the 2024/2025 Summer Season. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. There are separate campsites available. Rodborough Vale is 600 acres with a combination of creek flats, native bushland and rocky volcanic outcrops. A working sheep property with some cropping, It is home to the well known Rodvale Border Leicester Stud. Farming in harmony with the native fauna and flora, guests may be able to spot many native species including platypus, wedge tail eagles, kookaburra and many more. Fronting Deep Creek, guests have access to fishing or just sit and listen to the crystal clear water meandering past the campsites. The farm borders Tullaroop Reservoir which is only a ten minute walk from most campsites, there you can find public toilets and picnic areas it is well known for its fly fishing for trout. The boat ramp is around 400m from the front gate and guests are welcome to leave vehicles and trailers on the property for convenience. Note : The reservoir is currently only open to electric powered boats and canoes. Dogs are welcome but must be very well behaved around sheep. Flushing toilet available at the shearing shed. Wedderburn Victoria is a unique blend of Health, Heritage and Habitat. You can walk or ride for miles along its network of bush paths and walking tracks. You can explore the Heritage, commencing originally as a gold mining town where you can still detect for gold nuggets today. There is its long farming history as well. Then there is Wedderburn's Habitat with its magnificent box/ironbark forests providing a home to hundreds of different bird varieties and native animals. Come and explore and enjoy. There are separate campsites available. Rodborough Vale is 600 acres with a combination of creek flats, native bushland and rocky volcanic outcrops. A working sheep property with some cropping, It is home to the well known Rodvale Border Leicester Stud. Farming in harmony with the native fauna and flora, guests may be able to spot many native species including platypus, wedge tail eagles, kookaburra and many more. Fronting Deep Creek, guests have access to fishing or just sit and listen to the crystal clear water meandering past the campsites. The farm borders Tullaroop Reservoir which is only a ten minute walk from most campsites, there you can find public toilets and picnic areas it is well known for its fly fishing for trout. The boat ramp is around 400m from the front gate and guests are welcome to leave vehicles and trailers on the property for convenience. Note : The reservoir is currently only open to electric powered boats and canoes. Dogs are welcome but must be very well behaved around sheep. Flushing toilet available at the shearing shed. Good access for caravans and large RV's. Local attractions are the historic towns of Maldon, Clunes, Avoca and Dunolly all part of the Central Goldfields.
