Weekend Trip to Mt Hope Vineyard Estate.

First of all, thank Belinda to let us stay at her paddock. She was always responsive and helpful. Enjoying one night at there was just perfect for us especially my 5years old son who wandered freely on the paddock holding a bucket and picking up humongous fallen pine corns and branches from the ground. The paddock was privately positioned back of the property surrounded by tall pine trees. The paddock was vast, clean and safe. We could have a chance to see a wild echidna for the first time. It was behind the upside-down green steel shed near the wooden table. We didn’t bring our dogs this time but would be careful around there when the dogs are off leash. We will definitely plan to camp here again.

Lovely quiet spot next to the grape vines, with a dam beside you and rolling hills of vineyards all around. And totally level, important for those in a campervan. Will be back!

Weekend Trip to Kiernan Park Equestrian Centre

We loved staying here. The farm is lovely and rustic, camp is next to a road but it’s no-through so traffic is very limited. Horses are beautiful and very well loved, we saw kangaroos and lots of rabbits and loved exploring the farm. Jenny was a great host and very patient with our kids when we did the meet the horses tour, and every time we saw her! A great base to visit the Yarra Valley and all the little towns around.

Weekend Trip to Kiernan Park Equestrian Centre

A very pleasant weekend at Kiernan Park. A working horse farm and everyone was really friendly. Enough space to spread out and make yourself at home. Lots of birds song in the morning and great to see the stars at night. Jenny was very proactive in her communication and checked in throughout the weekend to make sure we were alright. A lovely base to explore the Yarra Valley from.

Excellent level site. Well maintained. Sheltered from northerly winds. Very well located. Friendly horses but not intrusive.

My husband and I together with our dog had a wonderful stay at Book a Paddock. We were well catered for with space, fire pit and firewood. It was a beautiful, peaceful setting. We recommend it to anyone wishing to unwind, leaving the maddening crowds behind. Belinda is a great host, prompt in communicating and respectful of our privacy. We will return.

Weekend Trip to Mt Hope Vineyard Estate.

Had a relaxing night in the back paddock, completely private, we didn't see another human while we were there (just a few horses, dogs and sheep) so if privacy is your thing this is a good choice. Probably a better option for a group of a few people due to cost, but considering you get the entire place to yourself and it's close to home we'd definitely stay again regardless. Instructions to reach site easy to follow, the camping area grass is mown and relatively flat. We brought our little Jayco Finch pop up camper and had no issues reaching the site or finding a level spot. There's a fire pit there which would be good in winter

What a gem in the perfect location in the Yarra Valley! We were guided to our camp by the wonderful host Tony, and set amongst the vineyard overlooking the hills and dam. This spot is in prime location to all the destinations within the Yarra Valley. It was private which was ideal for our child free weekend away! We will absolutely be back to this gorgeous little spot and will make sure we book in to Tony’s French Italian cooking classes too!

Amazing view, easy to get too. Can walk to see some sheep. Only 10 minutes from the town of broadford. Couldn’t of asked for a better place to camp

Kiernan Park Equestrian Centre

A working horse property, with on site coaches and horse trainers. The property is 40 acres, and also is home to numerous kangaroos, wombats, possums, goannas, echidnas, lots of birds and other critters, as well as, of course, lots of horses. We are dog friendly. There is a toilet available. Good access for 2WD and caravans. Drinking water available. Campfires permitted when restrictions not in place. There are lots of attractions nearby, including top class wineries and restaurants, the Warburton walking trail, fantastic mountain bike trails, the Redwood Forest, Kirth Kiln State Park, Bunyip State Park, Mt Donna Buang and the lookout, Ship Rock Falls, 7-acre Rock, Noojee Pub, Cunninghams Pub, Wesburn Pub and Wesburn RSL. Then there are the lovely old towns of Warburton and Healesville, Healesville Sanctuary, Rayners Orchard, the Lotus Gardens in Wesburn, swimming in the Yarra River....the list goes on.

The quality of the land hasn't changed with most of the region's farmland in use, so this is a cool piece of privacy in the Macedon Ranges. Currently home to our family, the property is also visited by many native Australian birdlife species, many marsupials including kangaroos, echidna, possums and even a koala. With close proximity to coffee shops and local stores of Romsey and Lancefield Providore, you have only a few minutes to drive to stock up on local produce. Walking the trials around Hanging Rock is a 10-minute drive and Mt Macedon lookout 15min. Pur property is 1 hour away from Melbourne. It has dorper sheep that are more than happy to share some bread pr have a pat. With outstanding views of Mt piper and broadfords township spreading over the valley. Come have a unique experience and see what broadford can offer. The sheep have free roam of the property so they may come sunrise you at night so make sure gates are shut behind you. Any questions feel free to ask away 1- Shut the gate everytime you open and close 2- Fires allowed only in a firepit provided by you 3- No driving the property, access is only located on the flat part near the stock yards. Mt Hope Vineyard Estate.

Our property is a working vineyard in the beautiful Yarra Valley region of Victoria. There are views of rolling hills and surrounding vineyards, all in a quiet country setting. This is a very safe and secluded space for campers, be they in tents or motorhomes/caravans. We are 10 minutes from Yarra Glen which has all your basic needs and we are surrounded by a number of award winning wineries with excellent food and wine options and beautiful gardens to explore. We are close to the Toolangi State Forest which is a beautiful natural area with plenty of different walking tracks and waterfall viewing options. There are also some popular 4WD tracks in the area too or you might like to take a drive up the Black Spur and enjoy the winding roads and lovely scenery. Campers must have their own camping toilet and take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Campfires are not allowed during fire season and pets, whilst on leash, are welcome. Limited DRINKING water is available, as we are reliant upon tank water. Note that, for access purposes, only one caravan per site is allowed, and units over 6 meters will require an advanced level of expertise to maneuver for exit.

Appropriate refunds will be given. Welcome to Nanadhong Views. Nanadhong is the local indigenous name for the Cathedral Range. We are located on the western slope of the Cathedral with beautiful views to its peak as well as across the Acheron valley to the Black Range and South to Dom Dom and the Black Spur. This property was previously a home site but was burned out in the 2009 fires. Now being returned to nature and available for camping only. Two dams and a seasonal creek attract birds and local wildlife. A total of 30 acres is available for exploring and enjoying the views. This private location has a single site with power and water, suitable for two vans or several camper trailers, a flushing toilet and further grassed areas suitable for tents and camper trailers. A camp shelter currently under construction will provide somewhere out of the weather with lighting, water and power available. The property is located 30 minutes from Lake mountain where you can ski during winter or hike and mountain bike during summer. Lake Eildon is also 30 minutes away and a great venue for fishing, swimming and boating. The Acheron, Rubicon and Goulburn rivers are close by and suitable for fishing and kayaking. Mountain bike riders can also try the tracks at Buxton or Eildon. There are many hiking/walking options including the historical Rubicon Valley just 20 minutes away. If you are into 4wd’ing or trail bikes there are many tracks in the Black Range across the road or the Big River area.
