Relax at your peaceful campsite and watch the animals graze around you. They are fed twice a day and your host can provide food for you to hand feed. We have a flat 5 acres with lots of well loved hobby farm animals including sheep, muscovy ducks, chickens, miniature pig and horses. We may even have lambs, ducklings or chicks, if you are lucky. Inside we have a couple of Childrens pythons that also are part of the attraction. We have an above ground swimming pool for guests to enjoy in the warmer months and lots of room to throw a footy around or what ever pleases you, as long as it doesn't disturb anyone else. Campfires are permitted when there are no restrictions in place. I have 20kg bags of firewood for $20 cash, just advise on arrival that you want some. I have fire pits here that you can move around to suit your campsite. There are no street lights out here, so remember to look up at night as the stars you can see are amazing. If you like to go spotlighting you may see a koala, possom, squirel glider, barn owls, flying foxes and other surprises. Guests are required to be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities. Flushing toilets available soon. From September 2024. You are welcome to dispose of rubbish in my wheelie bin and i encourage recycling and there is a bag for 10 cent cans etc. We often see koalas in trees and along the rail trail, which is just a km down the road. We are also close to a spar supermarket, takeaway shop and local pub. There is a simple playground that we are always adding to in the middle paddock under the shady trees and the back paddock is the biggest area and furthest from my house. Sorry, no dogs permitted. Most other pets are allowed but just ask to be sure. If you are a horse person bring your electric fence and your horse will just be $10 extra per night to cover water costs. I have a 20 meter round yard here you are welcome to use.

You are welcome to roam our entire property - we just suggest wearing enclosed shoes. We have some very friendly farm animals - Olly the goat. Barb, Shaun, Dodge, Daisy, Duke, Georgie, Gracie and babies Leslie & Bo who all love carrots and apples. This is a full working farm and we restore vintage caravans and classic cars. You will see us pottering in the garden or walking our poodle, but we will leave you to your privacy. The camping grounds is private and picturesque in our back paddocks - looking back over our olive grove and out to the great dividing range. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need. *Please note any negative feedback for camping received was from a festival that took place on our property in 2022 and the event organisers promised the campers facilities and did not deliver. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

Swimming in the water holes is ok, please check in the water for depth and sticks -Brisbane river is up the road (10mins) to Savages crossing or Twin Bridges. Fantastic swimming or lazing in the running water. -Push bikes, Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is 5min away if you jump on at Borallon Station Rd. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

You are welcome to roam our entire property - we just suggest wearing enclosed shoes. We have some very friendly farm animals - Olly the goat. Barb, Shaun, Dodge, Daisy, Duke, Georgie, Gracie and babies Leslie & Bo who all love carrots and apples. This is a full working farm and we restore vintage caravans and classic cars. You will see us pottering in the garden or walking our poodle, but we will leave you to your privacy. We have a beautiful vintage bus that we have converted into a farm shop and you can buy olives, relishes, honey, jam, seasonings, magnesium and more. We welcome small gatherings to celebrate birthdays, engagements or function (Christmas etc) just let us know during the booking process. We would appreciate quiet after 10pm. We are only 8 minutes from shops in town and a short drive for all of the Scenic Rim's attractions. We are in the heart of The Scenic Rim. The camping grounds is private and picturesque in our back paddocks - looking back over our olive grove and out to the great dividing range. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need. *Please note any negative feedback for camping received was from a festival that took place on our property in 2022 and the event organisers promised the campers facilities and did not deliver.
