Please note this farm is for SELF SUFFICIENT campers only. You MUST have your own toilet and you must take All of your waste with you. This is our home! Please respect it. * Do NOT enter neighbouring properties or throw rubbish over the fence. Cattle graze nearby and their health and safety is priority! One booking covers 4 people (no matter how many set ups/caravans/tents you have) You can pick wherever in the paddock that you'd like to set up - there are no pre allocated spots and you will be able to pick a private spot. Take a stroll through the olive grove and set up a picnic amongst the trees! Olive View Estate is a stunning 35 acre 700 tree working olive farm and guest stay accommodation. We have two paddocks on the back of the olive grove with breath-taking views. Enjoy a walk through our gardens and olive grove. You are welcome to roam our entire property - we just suggest wearing enclosed shoes. We have some very friendly farm animals - Olly the goat. Barb, Shaun, Dodge, Daisy, Duke, Georgie, Gracie and babies Leslie & Bo who all love carrots and apples. This is a full working farm and we restore vintage caravans and classic cars. You will see us pottering in the garden or walking our poodle, but we will leave you to your privacy. We have a beautiful vintage bus that we have converted into a farm shop and you can buy olives, relishes, honey, jam, seasonings, magnesium and more. We welcome small gatherings to celebrate birthdays, engagements or function (Christmas etc) just let us know during the booking process. We would appreciate quiet after 10pm. We are only 8 minutes from shops in town and a short drive for all of the Scenic Rim's attractions. We are in the heart of The Scenic Rim. The camping grounds is private and picturesque in our back paddocks - looking back over our olive grove and out to the great dividing range. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need. *Please note any negative feedback for camping received was from a festival that took place on our property in 2022 and the event organisers promised the campers facilities and did not deliver. Unfortunately Hipcamp won't remove these comments and we had no management of these customers. Olive View Camping - Scenic Rim
Highly recommend
Such a beautiful, peaceful spot to camp. Each camping space is a nice distance from others. The outlook over the mountains is beautiful, as is the drive through the olive trees when you first arrive. Everywhere you look there’s the coolest things to see, from the Olive bus with Popeye and Olive in the front, to the old rustic trucks, cute farm animals and random ‘hay’ signs. The only thing missing was some running water to swim in if it was hot.

Welcoming campsite - sweeping views
Loved the message from Olive View Estate - just welcoming and none of the usual list of rules and strictures. The campsite is wide and spacious with sweeping views over olive groves and rolling fields. There's even a farm shop in a converted van. My Labrador and I had a lovely time. Happy to recommend.

Olive View Camping - Scenic Rim
What a fantastic place. Certainly recommend it. Perfectly situated and private. We went mid week because we can so am not sure how busy weekends are. But regardless there is plenty of room anyway. We have a full off the grid van so it was easy. We also took our two doggies along, for this trip. Took a stroll around the property and also bought some nice speciality olive oil from the shop in a bus! The views in all directions are spectacular. Sunsets over the Main range and Cunninghams Gap are amazing. Also travelled the short distance to Kalbar. Lovely little town. Nice local produce there too. We will be going back!

We really loved our mid week 3 day getaway to this wonderful spot. The views are absolutely incredible and the place was so beautiful and green, due to all the rain we have had no doubt. A perfect place to explore the local area.

Great spot. Very relaxing. Campers spread out. We only had 3 other campers, still felt like miles away. Lot of previous rain but site held up well . Close to town . Self serve Olive bus a lovely touch and well visited. Will be back.
