Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main dam that offers great swimming. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore. The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. There are fruit trees and veggie gardens around the house, as well as a horse and house cow that guests are welcome to interact with. Somerset Dam is 40minutes away and you are able to use your own motorised equipment there. PLEASE if booking individually but you intend to join a larger group please message me on hipcamp after you have booked telling me the names of people you would like to camp with so I can allocate a space large enough to fit you all. Also please note we have 24 sites only, however some of these sites can easily fit 40 people therefore on Hipcamp it can show lots of availability when in fact that may not be the case. We are more expensive per person than other camp sites. Please note this includes hipcamp fees and charges and you are covered by hipcamp insurance. We don’t charge for pets, nor do we charge to use our 6 onsite canoes, nor do we charge extra for hot showers or rubbish removal, we have guest wifi. Our 1km private driveway is rough but if driven to conditions a 2wd has no issues.. Most of the time space is abundant however if choosing to come on a long weekend, Easter or New Years expect it to be a lot busier than your average weekend with larger groups camping together, however still plenty of space between groups. You won’t ever have to trip over your neighbours tent ropes here. Eco friendly lakefront and near to lake front sites. Please don’t arrive expecting lakefront, our sites are all near to and Depending on group size not everyone will have lake frontage. We can never guarantee requests. We assign sites based on numbers and camping equipment. The property is traversed by a number of rain forested creeks and ravines which are perfect for adventure hiking and rock climbing. We can also take you horse riding around the farm for a couple of hours or to the local winery if you prefer longer ride. We cater for all levels of riding. We have many panoramic campsites for you to choose from. These are suited to any one with the swag, tent, camper, caravan or motorhome. You need to be self sufficient. For those liking the comforts of home we have a bunkhouse which sleeps 10 and has electricity, water, flush toilet, shower, stove, microwave and TV. Linen is not supplied. If you are driving 2wd, or 4wd towing a caravan or a big trailer and GPS takes you through Mountain View rd., do not go that way, go through Dayboro rd. For those without transport Dakabin train station is 25 min from the farm. Pick up and drop off to the station can be arranged. There is a wide variety of shops and restaurants less than 10 min away.

Please note their is a current ban on fishing in Yabba Creek and surrounding creeks from 01 August until 31 October 2024 due to the Mary River Cod breeding season. You can still fish at nearby Lake Borumba. Check for required permits. Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other. During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. Kayaks are provided free of charge for all campers to use in Yabba Creek. Please treat them respectfully and return them back to their launching place just below the powerlines. If you wish to bring along your own kayak, you can launch them at the walkway between campsite 8 and 9 where our camp kayaks are stored, however, cars are restricted from driving down to the water edge so you will have to carry them to the water to launch them. Please note that you are responsible for your own kayak. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). Firewood is available and can be delivered to your site by our local contractor. Cost is $20 for a generous load or $10 for a half load. The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

Riverdell is 166 acres located on the eastern side of the Blackall Range extending down to the Mooloolah River headwaters. There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Off-road camper trailers are suitable for some campsites (max weight 1500kg and max length 5m restrictions apply). Caravans are not permitted due to the steep terrain. A Portaloo is within walking distance to The Knoll, Upper Plateau, Valley View and Little Bunya campsites, otherwise your camp MUST be self-contained. About. Welcome to our beautiful campground, nestled along a 450m stretch of the picturesque Mary River! Our campground offers a long stretch of flat land, making it an ideal destination for both large and small groups of campers. With plenty of shaded sites available, you can relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings while staying cool and comfortable. There's also ample space for recreational activities like cricket, footy, flying kites, or leisurely walks. The property is filled with the delightful sounds of nature, from wallabies to a variety of birds, with the charming chime of the Bell Bird and laugh of the Kookaburra resonating through the trees. Positioned near the river's origin in the hinterland, the river is a habitat for the platypus, Mary River Cod, and other native animals, including the critically endangered White-throated Snapping Turtle. One of the highlights of our campground is its proximity to the river. You'll have easy access to one of two river access tracks, just a short stroll away. As you approach the river, you'll be greeted by the soothing shade provided by the surrounding trees. The river itself offers a diverse range of experiences, from calm and shallow areas perfect for kids to play safely, to exciting rapids and refreshing rock pools for adventurers of all ages, with water depth varying depending on seasonal conditions. For those who love water activities, our campground offers a fantastic opportunity for kayaking along the river. Explore the winding waterways, immerse yourself in nature, and discover the hidden gems that the river has to offer. As an added bonus, our working farm is home to delightful pygmy goats that freely roam the property or can be found in their enclosure. Other Things to Note Access to the property involves crossing a dip ( at the moment the continual rain has washed some of the dip soil at the base so it is a bit d lower, low clearance vans maybe not suited) and a causeway . This track is almost always accessible by 2WD. Contact us regarding crossing conditions and wet weather access before your stay. Toilet facilities are not available and bush toilets are NOT permitted. Campers must bring their own camping toilets and take all waste when they go. IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF YOUR CONTAINERS/TOILET FACILITIES PLKEASE MESSAGE US FOR CONFORMATION. A BUCKET IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AS IT CAN BE BLOWN OVER SPILLING CONTENTS. Campfires are permitted in designated fire pits, based on weather conditions. Firewood is available for $15.per bag this is in the shade shelter with the fire pits if there isn't one at your site. We would appreciate if you could return your bags pls. Generators are permitted, we ask that these are turned off by 8pm for the comfort of other guests and our neighbours across the river.

Luke, Arna and the Family would like to welcome you to Yabba Ridge Farm. We own 35 beautiful acres along the banks of Yabba Creek. 3 minutes out of Imbil village, 12 minutes to Borumba Dam and surrounded by State Forests. We offer 4 sites, both powered and non-powered sites. Nestled along the banks of a pristine section of the Yabba Creek, there are large swimming holes for all water activities and shallow rapids great for the kids to play in. The Creek is home to an array of wildlife. Platypus are seen daily, plenty of bird life and a variety of fish and turtles. The backdrop is a large steep mountain that comes to the waters edge, which is where we created the name of our property "Yabba Ridge". We have a variety of animals which are behind high fences, and are very unique and spectacular to look at especially at feeding time where you can get a good look at them up close. With only 4 sites, we offer a spacious camping area, spread out all to enjoy the views of the mountain and creek. There are clean amenities, toilets and showers, as well as running water at the powered sites.

We are part of Noosa Hinterland, less than a km to the biggest salt lake in Australia. Walking distance to Apollonian Pub, 2.5km to Cootharaba brewery and bistro. Lake Cootharaba is at its peak, 4ft deep. It’s at the start of the Everglades, with 40% more bird life than Kakadu. It’s great for sailing, SUP, kayaking, kite surfing, fishing and swimming. There are wood fired BBQs and picnic seats all along the foreshore. Public showers/toilets too. Upon coming down Lake Flat Rd, you’ll see 4 letterboxes, turn LEFT here and travel down a private road approx 100mts, you’ll see 1 white bali flag and our Boho Wilderness sign on a SURFBOARD this is CAMP entry. We have designated camping area, fenced in, with 8 sites, all numbered. You could have a view across open paddocks/dam of our horses and goats. Or the other view of the forest. NOOSA EVERGLADES are calling you to visit. Camp sites are in horseshoe layout. Fires are ONLY ALLOWED in fire pit. FIRE WOOD AVAIL ONSITE Check in at 1pm and check out is flexible, on agreement with host. Please message owner 1hr prior to arriving. CHECK IN AFTER 6pm STRICTLY AT OWNERS DISCRETION Well behaved dogs are welcome, please keep them on a leash, please add them to booking, under EXTRAS $10 each (2dogs max.) NO DOGS IN RAINFOREST. Kids can feed goats and ponies. Thank you. *** There is bore water tap at shower block. *** 2 portlaloo’s which are emptied and sanitised three times minimum daily. ***HOT SHOWER AVAILABLE * Goat feeding is at 8:30am weekends for kids, adults by request, most days on school holidays. We are a coastal village by the Lake. * 1km to the Lake, foreshore has several BBQ (wood fired) and picnic tables to enjoy. Showers/toilets available at 2 points along foreshore. Sailing club has a kiosk The Point. Open Wed-sun 7am-2. Sailing club has happy hour Fridays 5pm. Members and non-members are welcomed. * Kids and dog beach available at the kids park, at Lake (4ft at its deepest). * Boat ramp for access to lake or Everglades. A canoe launching ramp available at Elanda Point. 7mins away. If looking at tides, lookup Teewah beach for lake tides. * General Store is currently closed. * Apollonian Hotel has bistro, outdoor dining and live music. Pet friendly. Kenilworth Rural Camping is a quiet, family friendly private camping area in the heart of Kenilworth, in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Adjacent to the Charles Street Mary River parklands, this 5 acre block has beautiful drive through, flat grassy sites. Shady or open spaces with a seasonal water hole on the property, 150mtrs from the Mary River, through the park or a 5 minute walk to town (600mtrs to the pub!). We have 5 camping sites, each suitable to any size caravans, campers, tents etc. Each site has the capacity to fit 3 caravans or equivalent and up to 10 guests. Fire pits at all sites. Please note we do not have amenities or drinking water and that you need to be self-sufficient with your own toilet/shower set up and bring everything you need with you and take out ALL waste. Please do not book if you do not have your own toilet. Please , nothing is to be burnt in the firepits other than firewood. No glass bottles or can's at all. Dogs must be on a leash at ALL times and must be cleaned up after. Family Group bookings welcome! Strictly no party groups. *All guests must be added to the booking request. Children under 12 are free but please ensure you include them in with the booking request. *The Mary River, and the water hole water levels are determined on rain fall.*
