Riverdell is 166 acres located on the eastern side of the Blackall Range extending down to the Mooloolah River headwaters. Escape off grid to enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the cattle grazing in the paddocks, spot the native birdlife or cuddle up by the fire in your own secluded paradise. Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek, west of The Junction carpark above the camp site to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Off-road camper trailers are suitable for some campsites (max weight 1500kg and max length 5m restrictions apply). Caravans are not permitted due to the steep terrain. A Portaloo is within walking distance to The Knoll, Upper Plateau, Valley View and Little Bunya campsites, otherwise your camp MUST be self-contained. Riverdell is dog friendly, off leash if trained, and recommend tick treatment before arrival. For safety, no arrivals after dark unless arranged prior.

Maleny - The Knoll, Riverdell
Amazing views
Absolutely spectacular views! The Knoll site is situated jutting out on it's own with gullies either side so no one is next to you. We loved our stay (albeit a bit windy overnight) and will definitely return again. Hosts leave you alone with a very comprehensive information pack before you come. There is a portapotty toilet nearby the site and it's kept clean and smell free.

Lovely spot
Beautiful property, steep but not too challenging fwding and cute cows all over the place. Recommended to bring a toilet as the porta-potty is fairly far from the campsites except for the valley view one. The creek is nice to walk through but a bit tough to get down to from the junction car park as it is steep and rocky. All in all a nice place to stay

Lovely view and cute cows
Beautiful spot. Felt private and safe. Glad we had to have the correct tyres though. That road down is steep!
