Barb, Shaun, Dodge, Daisy, Duke, Georgie, Gracie and babies Leslie & Bo who all love carrots and apples. This is a full working farm and we restore vintage caravans and classic cars. You will see us pottering in the garden or walking our poodle, but we will leave you to your privacy. We have a beautiful vintage bus that we have converted into a farm shop and you can buy olives, relishes, honey, jam, seasonings, magnesium and more. We welcome small gatherings to celebrate birthdays, engagements or function (Christmas etc) just let us know during the booking process. We would appreciate quiet after 10pm. We are only 8 minutes from shops in town and a short drive for all of the Scenic Rim's attractions. We are in the heart of The Scenic Rim. The camping grounds is private and picturesque in our back paddocks - looking back over our olive grove and out to the great dividing range. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need.

The Cooke Family welcomes you to “Hopevale”. A beautiful 113 acre property bordered by Wrattens National Park at the edge of the world in the peaceful Widgee district of greater Gympie. Jason, a landscaper by trade, and Jacinta a teacher by profession, met many years ago at a national Christian youth conference. Four beautiful children later and many years down the track, they bought Hopevale as a blank cattle fattening property in 2018. After much hard work, they have made it what it is today, with plans to continually improve. We have different camp options available, one of which is set up for those guests also wanting to stay with horses or just have a larger group booking. Guests will have access to a toilet and shower throughout their stay which is within walking distance from each of the campsites. Campfires and pets are welcome. The property has only had 4 farming owners in its 110 odd years since it was first surveyed and selected in 1915. The Hillcoats, Bishops, Cotters, and now the Cooke’s. The families over the years have used the property for timber getting, dairy, beef and small cropping. The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property. The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day. There are many species of animals and birds that call Hopevale home. From water dragons, frogs and fish in the creeks, monitors, wallabies, deer, koalas, possums and phascogales in the eucalypts. Red-back wrens, pardalotes, rainbow bee-eaters, finches and quail call the open grasses home while whip birds give their iconic call in the forest. Being only 20 minutes to the sunshine coast airport it’s a great opportunity to park up your big or small touring rig to head interstate at short notice if required. This amazing property has views of mt Coolum and mt Nindery with some of the best sunrise and sunsets around. With easy access to the property we can also cater for larger caravans and big groups of people. Being on the river there is option for fishing and crabbing, we are only a few hundred meter walk to the Yandina Creek Wetlands walking trails. Camp Fires are allowed on site. Some tracks are suitable for all levels of fitness and others include more challenging grades including rock scrambling skills. There are other challenging summit routes and climbing sites for experienced rockclimbers and abseilers. Or you might want to pull up a hammock and just laze the day away.

We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here. No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

Our venue and campgrounds are situated at the old Jimna State School property. The school closed in 2009 with the last students attending in 2006. It was then sold by the Qld government and has been rezoned as a Camping, Recreation and Events Venue. We have retained all the old school facilities for our campers to enjoy. There is a children’s playground and multi-purpose tennis court for everyone to enjoy. We provide tennis rackets, balls and basketballs free of charge to our campers. There is also no charge or fee to use the court. On most Sundays afternoons (weather permitting), we have social tennis where everyone is welcome to join in. The old school toilet blocks have the addition of hot showers and all toilet facilities are the flushing type. Campfires are permitted and there are small mobile fire pits provided so wherever you set up camp you can have your campfire right beside you. Note: There are no ground fires permitted and at certain times of the year Qld Rural Fire brigade may enforce a total fire ban. We have our “Caffeine Injection” kiosk on-site for the weekends and school holidays. Harper Creek Road and Harper Creek Criss cross one another as you drive through the valley. The ridges either side of the road are largely timbered, whereas the valley floor is productive land. The large property is located towards the end of this no-through-road, almost at the end of the line. While the property has dual access from both Engle Rd at the top camp; Harper Creek Rd, we enter from the valley. Camping on the top block is also available for 4WD vehicles only and not suited to large caravans. Campers are required to be self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pits with firewood provided or BYO. The mid-1900’s cottage sits in an idyllic setting, framed by the trees. The cottage is not yet available for Farm stays but will be soon. The location, vegetation and topography provide the privacy, the fauna & birdlife (the Bellbirds) combine to provide the solitude. Harper Creek cuts through the front corner of the property where it is met by a minor creek that drains the high country. You want more … how about a total of 115 acres (46.42 ha). While it is predominantly well-treed, it does have some cleared camping opportunities. It is watered by the creeks and one dam. There’s a great camping site at the top of the block, with a fantastic view! The property is off Aherns Rd, close to the village of Conondale and mid-way between Maleny & Kenilworth. With good access to the freeway via either Maleny or Kenilworth.… a perfect bush camping spot in a perfect setting! Pets welcome, please ensure they are kept under control and picked up after.

The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property. The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day. There are many species of animals and birds that call Hopevale home. From water dragons, frogs and fish in the creeks, monitors, wallabies, deer, koalas, possums and phascogales in the eucalypts. Our venue and campgrounds are situated at the old Jimna State School property. The school closed in 2009 with the last students attending in 2006. It was then sold by the Qld government and has been rezoned as a Camping, Recreation and Events Venue. We have retained all the old school facilities for our campers to enjoy. There is a children’s playground and multi-purpose tennis court for everyone to enjoy. We provide tennis rackets, balls and basketballs free of charge to our campers. There is also no charge or fee to use the court. On most Sundays afternoons (weather permitting), we have social tennis where everyone is welcome to join in. The old school toilet blocks have the addition of hot showers and all toilet facilities are the flushing type. Campfires are permitted and there are small mobile fire pits provided so wherever you set up camp you can have your campfire right beside you. Note: There are no ground fires permitted and at certain times of the year Qld Rural Fire brigade may enforce a total fire ban. We have our “Caffeine Injection” kiosk on-site for the weekends and school holidays. Get your morning caffeine fix as well as bagged ice, firewood, ice creams, snacks, cold drinks etc etc Then we have the old school principals residence aka “The Bush Holiday House“. It is fully self-contained and all linen is provided. Just BYO food & drinks. We offer this for one night stays and longer. Jimna is a tiny town immersed in the Australian bush; with nearby gorges, ravines, creeks and waterfalls - some wild & spectacular places to see. What better place to base yourself and explore our part of the Conondale National Park, Jimna State Forest... be it on foot, horseback, motorcycle, 4x4 or mountain bike!! Harper Creek Road and Harper Creek Criss cross one another as you drive through the valley. The ridges either side of the road are largely timbered, whereas the valley floor is productive land. The large property is located towards the end of this no-through-road, almost at the end of the line. While the property has dual access from both Engle Rd at the top camp; Harper Creek Rd, we enter from the valley. Camping on the top block is also available for 4WD vehicles only and not suited to large caravans. Campers are required to be self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pits with firewood provided or BYO. The mid-1900’s cottage sits in an idyllic setting, framed by the trees. The cottage is not yet available for Farm stays but will be soon. The location, vegetation and topography provide the privacy, the fauna & birdlife (the Bellbirds) combine to provide the solitude. Harper Creek cuts through the front corner of the property where it is met by a minor creek that drains the high country. You want more … how about a total of 115 acres (46.42 ha). While it is predominantly well-treed, it does have some cleared camping opportunities. It is watered by the creeks and one dam. There’s a great camping site at the top of the block, with a fantastic view! The property is off Aherns Rd, close to the village of Conondale and mid-way between Maleny & Kenilworth. With good access to the freeway via either Maleny or Kenilworth.… a perfect bush camping spot in a perfect setting! Pets welcome, please ensure they are kept under control and picked up after.

National Parks, walking trails, Wineries, Gourmet Pubs and Restaurants, Markets, two magnificent parks with play areas for children and so many other points of interest to see and discover. Being in a rural area we have strict guidelines for campfires. We follow all Local Government guidelines and the QFS. No blazing fires, all fires to be extinguished at night, no coals or ash to be left under trees or on the grass. We will pick up each morning coals and ash if required.

Property only accepts a single group so you will have it to yourselves. Great views to rock domes in Girraween and Bald Rock NPs and spectacular sunsets from large rock slab expanse through a set of gates adjacent to the campsite. Cold and can be wet and windy in winter so rug up and be prepared. There are rock outcrops and granite slabs around campsite. Property is on the edge of Girraween National Park and 6kms from the park headquarters by road. Local wineries such as Pyramids Road, Balancing Heart Symphony Hill are close by. Private camping area for vehicles and associated camper trailers or tents. Bush camp accessed by in sections steep decomposed granite driveway. Confident 2WD car drivers without trailers are OK but AWD better for loaded cars. Caravans, camper trailers and Campervans are unsuitable unless vehicle is 4WD with low.range required for heavier units. Campsite has a composting toilet and hot water shower with lights on movement sensors. Dogs are OK as long as they are controlled and remain, tied up if necessary, within the cleared camping area. Firewood is provided or can be collected nearby.

You will have access to our beautiful peaceful surroundings, with adequate shelter under some lovely big trees park your camper or pitch a swag. We also have a nice running creek that you can enjoy watching our many wildlife that are present throughout the creek, fish, eels and turtles. It's truly a very private and relaxing spot to chill out and enjoy camping for a few days or whatever suits your needs while passing the area. Plenty of fantastic swimming holes nearby including Josephine falls and Babinda boulders very popular spots for tourist and the locals. Site 1 right down on the creek large grass flat space big enough for two families to set up camp. The creek runs around the outside so there are a number of viewing points to see the wildlife mentioned above. A set of solar lights hang over the firepit area allowing for more light while cooking on our wonderful swinging hotplate BBQ. Site 2 Our newer spot work in progress not so ideal for camper trailers. your situated under our tree line away from the main creek. A smaller paver firepit, plenty fine for sitting around an open fire while watching the stars at night. Swimming in the creek is not recommended. So please check by internal message before confirming your booking that way we can confirm a spot while discussing your needs to ensure you have a clear view of your camping area. Onsite we have our shared outhouse porta toilet which is positioned in the middle of both camping areas for everyone's convenience. Stunning sunrises and sunsets and all within walking distance of Lowood shops along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail which stretches for nearly 1km along the boundary. Situated halfway between Fernvale and Coominya makes this an ideal stop on your BVRT adventure or is ideal for a quick getaway being only an hour or so from Brisbane CBD. Hope Valley is a beautiful place to camp. We stayed at Pilgrims Rest site, and we were right on the edge of the creek. The separation of the sites in my opinion is fantastic. I couldn't hear anything other than the sound of nature and the creek flowing. The drive in along Amamoor Creek Road has some great views, but be aware of livestock as they can sit pretty close to edge of the road. Anita is a great host. She stopped in and said hello shortly after we arrived. Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about this place at all. This was our first Hipcamp experience and I'm glad I chose this one as a starting point. Thank you Anita.

This place is lovely and great for first time glampers. Its very peaceful and is a great spot to escape the city life. The outdoor kitchen space is very nice and extremely convenient with fresh water, stove and Fridge. The bathroom was also very convenient with the compostable toilet and gass shower. Ian has also painted spots on the trees located behind and up from the tent that lead to some secluded water holes. The walk is so nice and the water would have been incredible but unfortunately there hadn't been any rain so we couldn't swim in them. But still a lovely walk through the bush! There is a little town called Pomona that is about 30 minutes away and it has such a wonderful energy about it. I instantly fell in love with the simplicity and beauty. Make sure to pack, wood, fire starters and kindling Power banks - charge your torches and electronics. BRING YOUR OWN PILLOW, trust me. All and all, this place is great and definitely recommend.

We love staying at Olive View Estate Scenic Rim. The wide open spaces, rolling hills and mountain views are spectacular. Waking up to the sounds of birds and insects as the sun rises from behind the mountains of the Gold Coast Hinterland is so beautiful. The sun setting over the Main Range mountains of the Scenic Rim lights up the sky with the most beautiful golden hues. When the stars come out, the constellations are clearly visible due to the lack of light polution. Olive View Estate is our favourite glamping destination. We always head home feeling refreshed and revitalised.

We loved spending our first weekend in our new caravan at Olive View. Beautiful views, nice grassy areas to set up camp. Lindsay and Kate communicated well and checked in on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. It was lovely to see the kangaroos resting in the shade of the olive trees. The little shop in the old bus was very cute. We will definitely return someday.

Great spot . Had cows and horses visit most days, they were very comfortable having the kids pat and move around them. It was very exciting for the kids. Having the creek right next to the site was awesome for the kids and dog to explore, while the adults could watch from the fire.
