4WD Recommended - dirt/gravel road and two creek crossings (through the creek bed) to get here. We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here. No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

Hideaway Flats
Another awesome stay @ hope valley. 2 nights @ hideaway flats. Anita was lovely as always and this would be our favourite by far. Nice and secluded with 2 large grassed areas with firepits to set up a tent and good positioning regarding trees. Awesome having the local cows say hello a couple times a day! Thanks again Anita! We look forward to next time!

Pilgrim's Rest
Was a nice little spot fitted 2 vans in on level ground. Downside was being at base of hill we had a storm and mud came all through the camp Not a lot of sun for solar as sites are well shaded on the level areas

Big Logs
Great experience at Hope valley, Anita was a welcoming host showing us to our camp but also giving us privacy in the isolated campsite. Definitely worthwhile for an escape, would highly recommend.

Hideaway Haven
Private, shady camping spot.
This is the third time we've stayed at Hope Valley and the first time at Hideaway Haven. This is a great spot if you really want to get away and have some privacy. We were tucked down in a nice shady spot. The property as always was a great place to stay and we'll definitely be back.
