Nice stay, but....
Overall we had a great experience, however there were some concerns. Our tent didn't have a zipper on the screen door, so bugs were getting in. The bathrooms were good, but weren't cleaned during the 2 nights we stayed there. It poured at one point and it leaked into the room and onto one blanket and cot, additionally we had to dump water off the roof. The river was great and our kids swam in it. The area was quiet. We had no cell service and were unable to contact Toni.

An Honest Review
If you are looking for an experience to pretend you like the outdoors, but the comforts of a hotel… this ISN’T for you. If you like camping, but don’t want the responsibility of bringing/pitching a tent, want a comfy raised bed to sleep on, a trendy vibe but still want the experience of sleeping outside… this IS for you. And the added bonus is there is running water and a bathroom with showers.
I am a low maintenance person, I have camped in many places (including glamp sites much pricier than this), with and without showers, so the fact that there was running water to clean up after hiking or swimming all day and a flushing toilet to sit on was enough for me to be happy… but there are bugs and it isn’t perfect but it’s a special place.
We came prepared with our own toilet paper and paper towels (just in case, though never needed them as the bathroom was fully stocked). Toni was available, though we had everything we needed and didn’t require much from her.
Suggestions to future summer campers: bring your own fan, it helped cool the tent down until the sun went down. Bring bug spray, seemed to keep most the critters away.
Suggestion to camp owner: Fox has a taped roof leak on the right side that does still let water in and the screen zipper is ripped, it didn’t affect our ability to to sleep comfortably or enjoy our stay, but just so others know what to expect until fixed. shelf in the shower stall would be helpful for placing soaps.
Overall, we loved it!

Overall we had a wonderful time staying here but for the price nightly there were a few things that were hard to look over. 1. The womens bath house one of the toilets wouldn't flush and the shower handles kept falling off. The door latches wouldn't stay latched so mid shower they would pop open. With toddlers the bath house was a little harder to deal with because the water drains so slow. Also the one shower is so small there isn't even a spot to get out of the standing water to get dried off or dressed much less try to get 2 year olds dressed. Everything else was fine and we ended up having a great time but the bath houses were a little rough.

My grandsons enjoyed playing in the river and enjoyed their time. The tent and restrooms for me were way too dirty. To many dead bugs everywhere. The restroom was out of paper towels for 2 days and the trash wasn’t picked up the 4 days we were there. The hosts mom Tony was very nice she stayed on the phone wit us until we found the camp. Tony also lent us tools to fix a light that went out on our truck.

The sites were beautiful, beds were comfortable and bathrooms were fully stocked. It was the perfect peaceful vacation we needed. We got lost finding the site and the owners mom Toni was patient and kind, she drove out to find us and show us the way. We will be back and can't wait to tell our friends about this gem. 10 out of 10
