Right next to the Blanco River, you would do better to stick to the east side of this campground which is further removed from the noise and commotion of Highway 280 to the west of the grounds.

These 54 sites (cabins included) come equipped with picnic tables and water/electricity hookups as well as restrooms and showers nearby. Near the campground entrance there is also a playground, group pavilion, sand volleyball pit and wildlife viewing station for visitors of all ages to enjoy.

Notable camping spots

  • Best for RVers: There are 28 campsites altogether with electricity or full hookups—if concerned about road noise, try for one of the spots farthest to the east.
  • Best for an easy camp experience: Snag one of the screened shelters with water, electricity, and ceiling fans. Just add beds.

Small, but beautiful campground, on the river. Surrounded by nature, yet in small town.
