We welcome you to come enjoy the beautiful outdoors and dark sky on a scenic 110 acre ranch in the Texas Hill Country. Our family has lived and cared for this unique property since 1976 and we are still here today. We are conveniently located in Blanco, Texas less that 50 miles from either San Antonio or Austin and in the heart of the Texas wine country. Our campsites are next to a spring feed tributary creek which flows year around feeding into the Blanco River just a few miles away or hillside with amazing views of the river valley. You will enjoy the babbling creek, miles of hiking and biking trails, cooling off in the creek, scenic hilltop views, solitude, bold sunrises and sunsets, and a brilliant night sky. We have numerous old growth hardwood trees including Live Oaks, Spanish oaks, Elm, Escarpment Cherry, Black walnut, and Ashe Juniper (cedar) one of which has the largest circumference in Texas. We have a wide selection of native and migratory wildlife that calls this place home including white tail deer, wild turkeys, foxes, bobcats, jack rabbits, road runners, seasonal songbirds and butterflies. We are just minutes away from Blanco State Park and a short drive to Pedernales Falls or Guadalupe River State Park.

Blasingame Creek Camp
This was an experience unlike a lot of others in my time. The camp was secluded from others and very large. (It could have easily fit any amount of items/tents you could ever want) There was a massive fire ring for burning and William provided firewood to our site directly for a small charge. All in all the site itself was breathtaking. Great views of the night sky and plenty of walking trails as well. The facilities did leave a little to be desired. If you are used to hunting bathroom systems (bag and throwaway) and don't care for showering this place is the go to spot!

Sunset Hill Bell Tent
Weekend getaway.
I needed a quick getaway from the stress of daily life, and the 3 dry Wells Ranch was able to provide that. If you can, take RR 12 to FM 32. The drive through "The Devil's Backbone" is very scenic. I have a hard time keeping my eyes on the twisty road with such beautiful vistas out my passenger window. I arrived at around 3pm and someone came out to greet me. I believe it may have been the hosts son? He was polite and directed me to the bell tent. The campsite is very beautiful. There are nice views right from the door of the tent. The campsite sits on a high hillside. You have a nice sweeping view of the valley below. The tent itself is of high quality and was clean. I really enjoyed just having a nice camp fire and not doing much at all. Sometime it is important to just do nothing except enjoy the view. The hosts themselves were great. They were very responsive online and were also helpful in person. I'd totally come here again.

Blasingame Creek Camp
What a lovely piece of land! We had a bit of weather but made the best of it. We’re definitely coming back to take for advantage of the land and creek. Finding the property was easy and communication great. We recommend!

Hillside Live Oak Grove
great campsite, great host!
beautiful property and great host. Bill made sure we had the most level spot for our overland trailer, had firewood ready if we needed it, and gave us some tips on the property. we hiked a bit, but mostly enjoyed the view. our area was so quiet and peaceful, just perfect! we will be back!

Sunset Hill Bell Tent
The Bell Tent was very nice and clean. The chairs a fire pit provided gave a great view of the land and skyline. The location was 2wd friendly and the site felt very private. I would definitely stay here again if I am in the area.
