We are open and above the floodwaters! Easily accessible from Rt 89 and Rt 4. Our Pick Your Own Blueberry fields open in July. Clay Hill Corners is a 10 acre working Blueberry Farm. We have PYO Blueberries and a farm stand open from mid July to August. We sell organically grown blueberries and produce locally. Learn more about this land: Our private Sugar Shack is at the end of our blueberry fields and faces the forest. The Sugar Shack sleeps two in a comfy double bed with clean sheets and a fleece blanket. I wash the linens and blanket in hot water for each and every booking. Please bring your own extra blankets or sleeping bag if the weather is cold. An additional clean quilt with duvet cover can be added for a $ 10 per booking fee. There is a small porch, a charcoal grill, four chairs, a hammock, a fire ring, fire wood, clean potable cold water, a solar shower, and an outhouse. We provide the firewood for the fire ring and we provide charcoal and lighter fluid for the charcoal grill. There is space available next to Sugar Shack in the field for additional tents or small RVs. (There is no electricity.) The upcharge for additional campers after the first two people is $5 per person per night. Hiking trails through field and forest start at your door. We have a 3 mile round trip hike to Harlow Brook with a map. We are on the edge of a wildlife corridor and often see deer, coyotes, fox, waterfowl, songbirds and the occasional bear. (Keep food in your car at night so that the bear does not eat it!) We are above the Ottauquechee River at North Hartland Lake. We have rentable canoes and a kayak. We can transport you to and pick you up for a canoe trip on the Connecticut River or to North Hartland Lake.. We are located two miles from Quechee, 7 miles from historic Woodstock to the west, and 7 miles to hip White River Junction to the east and 8 1/2 miles to Dartmouth College and the Appalachian Trail. There are fun casual restaurants with some sit down and take-out nearby and our local Jakes Market can provide you with a nice selection of groceries. Hot Air Balloon pilots often take off and land in our fields and it is always a magical site. We can connect you with local pilots if you wish to purchase a Balloon Adventure. Our private Sugar Shack is at the end of our blueberry fields and facing the forest. Quiet, private & no frills lodging with some sweet forest-bathing right outside front door for my dog & I. Picnic table & firepit also appreciated.

Beautiful berries and birding
We had the best time camping in this beautiful, quiet corner of Vermont. Marty was a fabulous host; we spent a morning out in the canoe spotting eagles, snowy egrets, and herons, and were treated to a pint of their tasty blueberries. The shack is clean and cozy, the fire pit is perfect, and there's lots of firewood and kindling. Carol and Marty's dogs are sweeties. We loved our stay!

The Sugar Shack and Farm Campsite
We loved the Sugar Shack! We were warmly welcomed by Marty, who also brought us some extra water and pointed out a great spot to canoe the next day. We enjoyed a fire with some wood and kindling they'd left for us, then slept very cozy and comfortable in the little cabin. The next morning we picked blueberries and then went to check out the river just down the road from them that had a put in for our canoe - we saw so many bald eagles and a beautiful waterfall. Recommend the area and the sugar shack!

I had a very nice and peaceful stay at Carol and Marty's. There is lots of little paths to hike, and a lot of wild life. Picking Blue berries was fun. Everything was great and they were both very friendly and accomadating. I would definitely recommend.
