Nice and quiet site. Great view to the east of the morning sunrise. Site could've used a mowing but overall it worked out fine. Only a few miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway made it all the better.

Disappointing Site
Tent · Group trip
The area was very beautiful, and Floyd is a nice town. However, we were a little disappointed and opted to stay at another Hipcamp 15 min away, because the land and paths to the site were so overgrown we couldn’t find our site. The host was not in the area and didn’t respond to our questions and messages. There’s not a lot of signage, and the grass was so tall so we were never able to verify that there was a toilet facility or water facility on site.

Super beautiful! The drive alone to the property was stunning and was like a dream come true when we pulled into the campsite. It was so pretty, beautiful sunset and amazing stargazing. Very lovely with all the nature sounds at night. It was colder at night then we anticipated in July but the campfire stove kept us warm and we couldn't have wished for a lovelier experience.

Beautiful and Serene

My wife and I really enjoyed this beautiful spot. Very quiet and serene space with excellent star gazing. As a bonus (and to be honest we didn't know about this) the nearby town of Floyd, VA is an absolute gem as an epicenter of Blue Ridge mountain music and art. This Hipcamp location is a perfect place to stay when visiting Floyd.

Such a peaceful location! The scenery is beautiful and a quick drive from Roanoke or Blacksburg. Megan was a gracious host and came down to say hello and welcome me. Thank you and I’ll be back!

Nice calm space in a field. Everything was as advertised. Would recommend and stay here again if traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway!
