Originally part of Blake Farm, built in the 1930's. Blake Farm was subdivided into 5 acres farmettes in the 1990's. The original farmhouse is next door, now known as Agape Farms. The forest has reclaimed much of the original Blake Farm land. Visit over 4 acres of available land, from the pastures, to the wooded creek, or the very back edge of the farm abutting deep woods. Spend relaxing time petting the Nigerian Dwarf goats, Rhode Island Red chickens, and the super-friendly livestock guard dogs (Thomasina, Bucky, and Sarge). We are also located adjacent to Agape Farms, with its horses, ducks, and chickens. All this in horse country just minutes from I-95 and an hour from Washington, DC or Richmond, VA.

The Mulchy Forest site
Mulchy site
Rodney was an amazing host and I would absolutely stay here again and plan on it as well.. he went above and beyond for us for multiple things. My kids loved the animals especially George, Kyle and Larry the goat. The dogs are amazing and huge. We had some of the chickens eggs and they were great as well. The mulchy site is private on his 5 acre land a little corner of your own and if you don't want to be bothered you won't. He provided a toilet, shower and firewood. My wife got to catch a couple chickens just to prove she could. It was truly an unforgettable experience the night sky is very clear and very little light pollution we got to see a comet and the northern lights while we were there truly amazing!

Farmside Tiny Home Experience
Great experience! We had a great time. My kids love seeing and feeding all the animals. Very welcoming. Would rent again.

Farmside Tiny Home Experience
First, the place was awesome! Very cozy and has everything you need. Good location, with close proximity to grocery shops. Rodney was great and excellent host. Got to learn more about Rodney and the farm. Very cool experience and the eggs were fantastic! Thank you Rodney!

Farmside Tiny Home Experience
Cute place.
This tiny home is adorable. They did a nice job decorating it. I enjoyed my stay. They had a full kitchen (with one burner) and I cooked dinner. I liked how close it was to DC. I wouldn’t plan on staying here for a full weekend though without leaving because you can see the neighbors from the property.

Quiet Overnight Parking Spot
Rodney was Super friendly, very informative of the area. Great quiet place. Dogs are super friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Superb time
Great time!! Wood was cut for us. Greeting was very nice. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to go camping
