This campsite offers a serene escape with a picturesque stream, making it ideal for families and nature lovers alike. While the sites offer some privacy, they are closer together than some visitors expect, so it might be worth booking multiple sites for larger groups. The host, Chris, is praised for being accommodating and helpful. The bathhouse is well-maintained but might require some patience during peak times due to limited facilities.
We had a great stay at site #5! It was a very last minute thing to do with our kids and Chris’ place just kept popping out to us. We set up a tent and enjoyed the fire making hotdogs and marshmallows! The creek is clear and my son even caught his first crawdad lol. Listening to the creek at night is so peaceful I will definitely bring my family again. We met Chris and his family upon arrival and they seemed very nice. Highly recommend 👍🏼
Chris and his German shepherd were great hosts. Had a sweet little spot by the creek at site #5. The bathhouse was clean and the water was nice and hot. It’s close to the road but not so close you hear much at all. Chris also helped me pick a site in order to work remotely which was very helpful. He allowed me to take my time the next day and made sure I found some trails on the property.
Definitely recommend.
The spring peepers were out in force at our creekside campsite and it made for a magical night. We appreciated the hot shower and availability of clean drinking water. Hope to stay longer next time!
Very nice tent site. Chris was a great host and very professional. Nice quiet place to get away. You've got to meet his dog!!! We will be back!! 5 stars
