Our property is nestled in the foothills of the Mad River Valley, close to the headwaters of the river. The property is composed of wetlands, agricultural meadows, old apple trees, and hardwood forest with 700 feet of elevation. All structures on the property are solar-powered and a rainwater system feeds the sink in the outdoor kitchen. There are a handful of individual camp sites available in the spring, summer and fall, as well as a communal outdoor kitchen with lighting, a fire pit, a stone pizza oven and a sitting/yoga deck. We also offer more of a "glamping" experience in our 14 ft yurt, which comfortably sleeps 2-3 people with wood stove heat and a solar battery for lighting. We love sharing this space with others and offering a rustic forest getaway.

Hemlock Campsite

Laura's property is an absolute gem. The site had plenty of space to wander, a full outdoor kitchen, and scenic views (even from the outhouse). The Hemlock site was such a cozy little spot by the creek and I can't wait to visit again!

Creekside Yurt

We had a quick but great stay in the yurt. There was lots of room to explore outside with our toddler and dog. Everyone we met at the communal kitchen and campfire was friendly and welcoming. The yurt had more than enough pillows and bedding for the 3 of us and was very comfortable to sleep in. We hope to be back!

Yellow Birch Campsite

Yellow Birch stay

I only stayed one night at the Yellow Birch site but wished it were many more. Laura and Caldwell were super friendly and provided some great tips on local stuff. If you are into any kind of biking or hiking this is a great jump off spot. The grounds are amazing as well as the surrounding area. Communication and directions were excellent. I will definitely visit again.

Hemlock Campsite

Fern Hollow was Perfect

Fantastic place to camp. We loved the site by the brook. So peaceful falling asleep to the sound of the water. The fire pit was also a nice touch. My husband loved the outhouse. I would highly recommend Fern Hollow.
