200 acre farm located at the foothills of Lamington National Park. Cedar Glen Farmstay offers off-grid camping amongst alpacas, cattle, horses, camels and more. Enjoy a cool down in the Albert River and enjoy the stars at night by a fire. Cedar Glen is the perfect spot to wind down and enjoy the outdoors and nature. Cedar Glen has been a working cattle farm for over 100 years and a Farmstay for more than 30. The Farmstay also has 3 Cottages and a Homestead for accommodation. Guests can enjoy feeding the animals at an additional cost with staff and learning about the history of the property and the founders who settled on the land in the late 1800s, built the existing dwellings, and farmed the thousands of acres surrounding the farmstay. What does our farm have to offer? An open space to camp with incredible views; A play area to keep the kids entertained including a tennis court, lawn games, basketballs and hoop, a trampoline and more; Swimming or floating down the Albert river from one end of the property to the other; Animal feeding - with the option of an animal encounter where you get to enter our paddocks with a farm hand and spend some time with our animals or buckets of feed to feed our animals through the fence (these are both at an additional cost); Buggy rides to get the kids around the farm and so much more!

We had a lovely overnight camp with our family and dog. There was plenty of space for our setup and we had a friendly welcome from the hosts who gave us information and a load of firewood. The animals are lovely and there a several walls to be had to view the valley from different perspectives. I would definitely come back.

The serenity!
Our family of 4 had a great 3 night stay at Cedar Glen. Hosts Peta and Wayne (apologies if I got names or spelling wrong) were friendly and accommodating. Kids had a great time feeding the animals (pigs, alpacas, chickens, guinea pigs, camels, donkeys and sheep) also hanging out with the farm dogs Georgio and Armani. Warm water and fresh, clean amenities. Nice creek couple of hundred metres from camp for a quick dip. We spotted a few quite large Carp in the creek at the "corner pool". We had the place to ourselves except for one other van turning up on the last night. Hosts informed us it does get quite busy at times though so definitely try to book ahead if you can! The area is so quiet, perfect place to relax if you didn't have kids in tow. If we were from this area we would definitely be back.

Mesmerised
The camp site location is just amazing. You'll get a mesmerising sunrise from the valley when looking towards Lamington National Park on one side and beautiful sunset from the opposite site. The night sky was filled with glittering stars. Host was very kind and helpful and had information about nearby waterholes were readily printed. The were a variety of animals on farm like camels, peacocks, donkeys, goats and sheep to name a few. The kids had fun playing at the mini play ground. Given a chance I'd camp here again anytime.
