50-some years ago, the legendary Grampy David made his way to The Red Rock Rabbit Ranch. There he resides: a good-hearted curmudgeon, a handyman, a grumpy, Ywengling-drinking philosopher, the wittiest mason, carpenter, roofer, etc. you'll ever meet. I'm his grandson, a documentary filmmaker helping to make ends meet here by sharing this glorious space with Hip Campers. 50 acres of serene woods, fields, a pond, and Mine Run Creek. This is a place to relax, to get in touch with nature and reconnect with the people you love. Spring Mount Adventures is nearby. The Perkiomen Creek Trail is only a mile away. Crawfish, sycamore trees, foxes, pileated woodpeckers, and more! Caring for the land: please do not collect your own firewood on the land. That wood is decomposing and contributing to the health of the forest, providing numerous habitats for bugs. Note on dogs: we run a dog-sitting business, so there may be a pack (2-5) of dogs that come through the woods with us on walks. All dogs we sit are friendly towards humans. Food recs: Raw Replenish in downtown Schwenksville has healthy smoothies and salads. Thai Spice is ten minutes away. Trouble's End brewing is 15 minutes away in Collegeville, with delicious beer and a Spicy Chicken sandwich.

It was so cozy and private here. We had a great stay at Lindera and Martin was a very hospitable host.

Camping at Sacchara!
Martin takes good care of a charming piece of wooded land that is tucked away from the busy and noisy world. We enjoyed a night (albeit a bit rainy) at Sacchara campsite.

Martin's land was beautiful and peaceful. Great location near Philly, and lovely place to spend an evening. A few things for future campers to know: The Sacchara spot is a bit of a walk from the parking, so make sure your stuff is haul-able. The water spigot, was difficult to access (there was a complicated gardening hookup attached and while there were another spigot, I couldn't get them to turn on). The toilet was just a trash can.

Camping with kids and a dog.
We really enjoyed the campsite, forest, and nearby creek. The site felt private and was clean. Great spot to camp with kids (two 4 year olds). We had our dog with us as well.

Beautiful campground
Super secluded, beautiful foliage, directly next to a stream with fish and crayfish. We really enjoyed our time here. Definitely recommend the egg and firewood extras! Thank you Martin

What a beautiful spot! The creek is magical and there are places deep enough to dip in. My son and his friends loved catching crawfish and wading in the water. Super private & laid back. Martín is very responsive. Ordered firewood and eggs (which are pretty & delicious). Overall a great experience. Just one thing to note: The campsites are set back from the road so there’s definitely privacy, but you can hear car traffic, which mostly dissipates late at night. It’s not a deterrent for us, but thought it worth noting for expectations sake. We’d come back in a heartbeat!
